I'm also going to add some padding and leather on the lid.

Was on a 2-week roadtrip thrugh Sweeden with a buddy of mine.:steer:
4500 Kilometers, nearly no problems with the truck, just a few leaks and a drive belt (servo) that went to hell. Minor trouble, all inn all!
The 2H now really packs a punch after setting it up with new injection nozzels and pushing some more fuel in there. The turbo and the IC works great!
:deadhorse:

Some highway driving, fishing, offroading with the LC-club, and offroading while looking for fishing spots!

made a slideshow with some of the pix, enjoy!

Push the PIX, view slideshow, give comments!

I really like those seats in your 60:D

You should visit Australia for offroading. We can show you trails that go for days/weeks and all legal;)

Nice Cruiser and outdoor shots! What were you fishing for?
Butt

I dont know all the english names for theese fishes, but salmon, trout, char? (røye in norwegian) ,grayling and pike, if those names are correct.
LOTS of nice fishing lakes/rivers in norway and sweeden!

The seats look nice, but are a bit hard, a bit too much space for the headrest (room for a helmet) and they are a bit too black!
Looking for a set of recaros, since i'm driving as much as i am... theese seats are pretty sporty, i guess the oem seats are a bit more comfy!

I am actually "planning" on studying architecture for 5 years, with one of them in aus! then i'll be hooking up, and gotta find me a LC for my time down under! ;)

okay, its been a while since my last updates...
ill try to fill up a bit, been wheeling, wrenching and modding, here are some of the pix:

I didn't get my 37"s ready for the mud, but i ran maxxis 33" mud, so i got around...
The 60's big and clumpsy body isn't perfect for narrow muddy places, but everything worked well, and nothing but scratches is left...
And of course, the pix never show how steep and narrow things really are, its more wicked behind the wheel..

Dang u got a cool Crusier Why is the soa illegal

dang, Thanks! :bounce:

Well the soa is illegal because the EU regulations does not let ut do that "drastic" changes to an original suspension construction.
But if i could find a TUV registered kit for doing soa, the "car inspection" guys over here might allow it. the rules are tight!

Been fiddling with mock-ups today, figuring out where to cut and how to make the flares fit well.
The 35"s are still gonna be the daily shoes, but everything is going to be ready for 37-38" at all times, as soon as i get my hand on a mig.

This alternative from marks4wd is tempting...
Anyone tried this setup? other alternatives?
Option 4 from marks4wd on transfer:
High Range 1.08:1 = 8% Underdrive
Low Range 3.05:1 = 55% reduction

To reduce the high range would not be to bad for running the 37" road-ish.

now the pix do the talking, just mockups with only the outer bead bolted..:

Those tires are going to rub like a fat kid's thighs. You're going to have to do a good amount of cutting to make that work.

As for the gearing, the mark's underdrive will definitely help with the on the road manners of the 35's. I don't have a set but I've heard that they run a little louder than the stock gears. What diff ratio are you running right now?

I know, i know...:bounce: going to relocate the rear axle, cut some guts out both front and rear. Modify and stretch the flares so the "original" look of the car still is there...somewhere... and level the ass out with some heavy duty dick cepec chackles i got.
Its gonna be tight, but it's gonna be right, too!
Now i got a 4.88, but i don't know what's in the 61 locker axle i got a hold on.

Beet thinking... maybe swap the powertraxx autolocker to the front (which is now in the rear) , and put the oem 61 locker in the back. i'll try vice verca too, to check road manners with or without locker in the front for steep, icy and narrow winter driving in the city. or should i go manual in the front...?
Happy for any comments on that, on road and off road.
