1. Year and model: 1994 FJZ80 3xLocked, Emerald Green.
2. Name of owner: Newbcruiser
3. Name of rig:
4. Mileage: 236k
5. Mods (by PO): super swampers 285/75/16s, metal tech tube bumper, smitty built winch, LED fogs, LED inside lights, fender flair removed, LED light bar/rack, center lock/front and rear lockers, PO welded some sliders on, OME HD 3", and some sweet mossy oak seat covers.
Next: probably change sliders, maybe change the super swampers as they are terrifying to drive over 55 on the hwy, rear swing out bumper, new roof rack and tent. Also would like to find and fix the oil leaks WHEREVER THEY ARE!!!
6. How the truck is used: Weekend warrior.

Can't upload a pic to imgur for whatever reason. Will have to wait until I'm on my computer.

I've been lurking for a while and figured it was time to dive in (more).

1. 1996 FZJ80, owner for just 9 months or so.
2. Sailing4x4
3. Rig: Robin
4. Milage: 196,000 (somewhere in there)
5. Mods: So far not much, bumper from the PO, then Hella 500ffs, CB, and a little bit of rear cargo management. Hopefully I'll get a OME stock height kit in, new tires, and a few other goodies. Keeping it simple but capable.
6. DD

This forum has been an amazing resource so far, helped me in purchasing this cruiser. Thought i'd introduce myself and the truck before i start inevitably asking tech questions.

3. cruiser
4. 155k (miles)
5. So far nothing other then 265/75's for the snow. going to get a center lock switch asap, remove sideboards, remove bush bar (fills with snow too easy)
6. Going north and driving in heavy snow. And other canadian things.

First project will be tackling the gas mileage. First tank came in at 24L/100km. Or about 9mpg. Would love to bring that down to 19-20L/100km. That being said it is winter and allot of that tank was spent without tires ever touching pavement, too much snow.

2. Kl2
3. Pruiser
4. 220k
5. Supposedly 6" ome lift, 35" mts other than that its stock from what I can tell.
6. Wheeling, hunting, and camping

I started with jeeps, got into building diesel trucks and Harley's, just sold my truck that I built over the last 5 years and stumbled onto land cruisers. I got one thinking it would be fun to build one with my kids and use it as a family. After driving it for 45 minutes I was hooked these things are great. This is really my first Toyota so I will be leaning on you guys for help with the idiosyncrasies of these beasts. I must say this forum has been helpful so far, thank you and I look forward to getting to know you guys.

Forgot to put in mods that are coming, slider steps, front and rear bumpers, full size spare, and repaint the entire rig there is entirely too much peeling clear coat

First time posting in this thread...
Piked up this 96 fzj about 6 weeks ago.
1996 fzj80 black edition
151k and rising
ome medium springs / fox 2.0 IFP shocks
255/85/16 Cooper ST Maxx

This is my second 80. First one was a 91 fj80.
I dove right in and did a new water pump, cleaned up front of engine, new thermostat. Fixed both power seats with gamiviti gears, fixed inop pioneer stereo with pawn shop special. Truck runs great, and in the last 6 weeks has made it up to Sun Valley ID, Torrey UT, and Breckenridge CO. And to work and back a whole bunch.
Lift was installed yesterday, and I love the way it looks, love the way it rides.

First pic is my old 91, I hope she is having fun with her current owner.

Hi there, my name is Yves.

93 with a bad engine knock and 198ish K on it. While in color

I don't really name my vehicles

It has 33s I belive a 2" ome lift. Slee front bumper. Some sort of head light upgrade

Will be putting a 5.3 in it. Undecided on the Trans

Eventually a 3 link and 4 link. 35s King coil overs. A rtt. A trailer.

I own a small fab shop in Denver. So all the work will be done by me.
