Hey guys, new member here. My name's Matt, I live in Snohomish county Washington. I had a 97 Land Cruiser but totalled it and now have a 97 LX450 with 240k on it. It's all stock besides the aftermarket head unit.

Since I bought it last October I've replaced
-plugs, wires, cap, rotor, distributor o-ring
-water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, radiator
- block engine coolant temp sensor
-drive belts
- replaced broken headlight/corner lamp car came with
- BF Goodrich all-terrain KO2's
- cleaned up the paint real good

Future plans relatively soon are
-rebuilding the knuckles
- OME 2.5" & 33'S
- bumpers, sliders, winch.

Future plans a little further out are v8 or 4bt swap and replacing the ripped leather seats

I've got a clogged drain hole I need to clear out this week that I just noticed after washing it and rain.

I bought the car as a daily driver so I don't have to beat up my GS300 that I'm swapping a 2jzgte into. I use the LX to get to mountains for snowboarding and shooting and would like to take it on trails once I lift it.

I'd like to do anything I can to keep this vehicle running another 10-20 years, I have no desire to drive anything else. I've owned it since it turned its 200k mile. Haven't done any work on it other than routine maintenance and repairing a couple minor oil leaks. Any advice from the +250k mileage crowd would be greatly appreciated.

'97 locked and flareless, 225K with OME lift, non-winch ARB and 295/75 16 BFG A/T's. A long list of PM and baseline coming soon. Then, OEM JDM Aisin winch, OEM door weather guards, 285/75 16 Super Swamper ND and Mickey Thompson wheels.

Thanks for having me. I just transitioned from an 06 Tundra to a 97 FZJ80 and this is my maiden post on MUD. I'm guessing this rig isn't new to some of you, but it's new to me. I had the good fortune of buying this from a master tech who was insane with his build. I'm still learning what some of these parts are. Needless to say, I can't answer tech specs about the build. Have had it 8 hrs put 100 miles on it to get home no issues, PO had a laundry list of things that have been done and after putting some miles on it, I believe no bull****. Needs some cosmetic work but all the mechanical stuff is great. Really needs seats recovered and some paint repair not sure what to do about that, newer paint clear coming off all over. Came with all kinds of spare stuff
