Drove Zeke to church this morning, and the transfer case started making a racket. Got under neath it and didn't find anything obviously wrong. Decided to keep driving it and the noise stopped when I took a drink of coffee. Looked in the console and there was two quarters and a spare fuse right under my metal cup causing the noise Feel like a complete doofus.

When I parked it I noticed suspicious steam escaping from the heater under the console. Pry need to look into that now as well.
It's not just a Cruiser, it's an Adventure!

Amazon has Rotella earl. For me it says I could get gallon jugs by Wednesday. Not sure what it's like in yer parts.

$30 a gal for T4 on amazon.

I like your ideas!

If you can, convert it back to the Aisin carb for your year. You seldom hear people bitch about those. I know Trollhole has replicas - no experience with those.

Alright. You've piqued my interest.

The question I'm considering is "Why not?"

It almost runs just fine with the Holley; just likes to die from time to time and then run rich unexpectedly.

I am running DUI; is it just a matter of getting a stock carb linkage and then plugging the Aisin carb into the vacuum hoses that are plugged at the carb base?

I have a stock air cleaner housing as well. I could even rig a way to get the carb heat to work as well, maybe.

I could actually trash my idea to go EFI and just stay with a stock setup.

Is this dumb?

These just arrived on my doorstep. Still waiting on the master.

Well, now that I think about it, it *may* just be a matter of getting stock linkage and plugging into vacuum hoses, but you may have gone through a de-smog from with of varying ability.

I am not sure what year your Pig is, or how serious they take emissions inspections where you live, but it may be a hassle if you have to go from 0 to full enchilada on emissions equipment and vacuum lines...

Mark A ( @65swb45 ) could probably field some questions about what you need to do, and may be a source for a well-rebuilt carb of the appropriate year for your Pig.

It's a 75 with no emissions requirements where I live.

I think the Celica of early 80s is the same style light. Something like that.

I'll keep an eye out for one of those.

I think I can get by with just the one light for now. I'm thinking when the other one goes, I will just put some aftermarket LED lights, or even retrofit the earlier style instead.

The more I think about it, the sky's the limit on these. Anything will do the job.
