Definitely pre-'75. Hard to say exactly. My guess as to what caused it's current lowly state: overheat and complete engine meltdown due to improper storage of the spare tire. :grinpimp:

Took my 80 up to the Eden drive in last night and on the way back passed a nice 40 heading toward Eden.

I only mention it because with how bright my high beams are and how high they are off the ground, I have to apologize to whoever it was for forgetting to turn them off!

Sorry about that (if you're on here)

Saw this in Pittsboro Lowes - Toyota Starlet. Below we saw the Southest Overland truck otw to Asheboro :)

Saw a nicely built 80 series coming out of the Whitewater Center today around lunchtime with a mt. bike on the back.

That's sharp looking. I am debating colors for my 60 and green is in the running. It would be a darker green though.

The badge on the rear gate under the 4WD badge says Vortec, customer put it on. After the swap he went on and had it painted and put the bumper on it. Fashion Green is the color.

Gawd ... Why does that color name bring pictures of an effeminate David Bowie to mind ....

Spotted a sweet topless old-school forerunner at Harris Teeter off Carmel in Charlotte around lunchtime today.

Black paint, with foldable bows and a full-length bikini top( or whatever the right term is)

Was driving and couldn't get a pic. Really sweet looking though!
