The grill kinda has a throw back look to the 82/83 mini truck grills. I liked it first time I saw one on a different truck. Granted the roof and bezel were the two things Toyota got right with FJC

I have spent the last two days driving from Charlotte to Golden and have had my eyes peeled. Until I pulled into my hotel here, I had seen only one LC on the entire trip - a very clean stock '96 80 in Bowling Green KY. I saw a 100 series while I was getting dinner and another 200 here at the hotel.

Lots of 4Runners and a few FJCs on the road. No Cruisers except for me

Kept swapping position with this nicely built FJC with AR plates on 70 in KS and Eastern CO today.

It's actually very similar to a Tundra cluster. The speedo spent most of the day pointed straight up.

I saw this awesome 80 near the Durham Bulls when I was leaving work today. Didn't get a great look at it, but it had a 'MUD sticker on the back. Anyone here's?

Spotted at the Lexus dealership in Charlotte yesterday by a friend. I haven't seen it around before. Looks fantastic. View attachment 937303

Pretty sure this was the one for sale in Raleigh out by the airport a year or so ago... Recognize the seats. They were asking a lot of money and it was full of rhino on the interior, so I couldn't tell what had been done in the floors for rust mitigation.

Let's see the avg mpg to go with that mph!

I just ran that route the other day coming back from Utah. Towing a trailer I averaged 12.7mpg the whole ride. Ouch.
