Was in north Raleigh and saw this beauty. One of the cleanest I have ever seen. The interior was flawless as well.

Nice guy. I have spoken to him a couple of times here in HS. I saw him the other day at Lowes in HS in his 60 series. He also has an HJ75 UTE I believe. His son is driving the 80 now. I invited him to come to the ONSC monthly meeting. He is on IH8MUD, but I don't know his handle.

Spotted some beauties around charlotte this past weekend, luckily only 1 owner had to see me shirtless and sweaty.

Love the half doors on this rig, actually I loved everything about it.. 79+, but had a really old school looking Toyota emblem on the rear hubs(?), similar to the T on the acorn hubcaps… dilworth

Never seen this one before and really was digging the steelie color choice, need to research if that was offered stock at some point

This was the unlucky owner who saw greased lightening… sorry…. Love the stance and everything about this heritage edition…

The rear center caps with the "T" on the white 40 are 100 percent factory original for the '79-'84 40 and 60 series. I have a set just like that on the rear of my '84 60. They are no longer available. All you can get anymore are the black ones that say TOYOTA.

I believe 40 steelies were all gray, but the same steelies on FJ55's were white. That Heritage 200 looks like Rafael's @Roxx.

That sucks. Glad he's okay. It looks like the major parts of the body were untouched. New top, windshield and doors and I'd bet money this truck will live on. Upside down bezel must have created an imbalance that led to all this mayhem.

Who has the beautiful white forty up in Huntersville? I saw it cruising this AM while on the bike. I’m really curious about the soft-top they have…. Looked like a full length bihimi(?) top that may have had the sides unzipped or something… almost like the new wrangler or bronco soft tops.. also maybe it folds all the way back like the best top.

Now that I’ve written all of that I’m starting to wonder if maybe it was like an Icon restomod or something.

Another sweet 60s nicely lifted in south park on my way home… figured u needed some visuals. Sorry for the blurry pic…

RIP. What's his future plans with it or is it totaled?
It’s total but he’s keeping it. He hasn’t quite decided. He will take it back to normal or tube it.
