Sir, I envy you.......

Looking great.

That's some serious cruiser porn right there! Nice work!

Subscribed for the finish.

I shed a small tear. That's an incredible amount of excellent work. Now I'm going to be disappointed every time I look in my engine bay. . .

I wish my engines were that clean and had that "little part" bolted on.:D:cool:

Sir, I envy you.......

Wow!!! Nice work sir

Thanks everyone!

More work...

I installed the baffle on the valve cover. I used JB weld on the treads to make sure the screws do not come loose and cause problems.

New trans screen

Lengthening the wiring harness to the throttle body

Ran in to some problems... the red wires are not long enough and the blue tape is a factory splice

I cut out the factory splice and added my own wire to make it long enough. The wires needed to be moved back to the factory heat tape.

The correct length

Not sure this is how this pipe is supposed to work... not overly impressed with the quality of this kit. I just bent it back into place

Got all the hoses fitted

It is not very clear in the TRD instructions, but the hose from the intake manifold needs to be removed and reconnected with a new hose from the yellow T to the supercharger.

Gettng close...

Replacing the starter contacts

They actually look pretty good, but the parts are paid for and I have it out

Hit this with a wire wheel

Don't forget the spring, the starter will not work... ask me how I know

Tundra alternator

Killer motor! Like the detail you took on this motor.

Hmmmm... ideas. I have this WTA intercooler that has been sitting in my garage for a few years that came off of a Celica st205 gt4. My original plan was to put it on my Celica st165 alltrac but I think I am going to sell the car. What do you guys think?

Great job, definitely making a lot of us jealous with your attention to detail and your now better than stock motor! Since they always say the next one should be easier let me know when you want to do mine. I will get you a 6 pack of your choice ;)

Definitely do the WTA intercooler, I think the biggest problem with the TRD supercharger is hot intake air temps leading to detonation.

Very nice. You planning on adding a little radiator up front to cool the WTA intercooler?

Ha, well I don't have it running yet so you might change your mind.

Yeah it is too bad that TRD did not include an intercooler into their design.

pure porn !!!!

Thanks

Yeah, I just go one actually.

Taking it to a whole new level! Thank you for documenting this for posterity.

No, unfortunately they are still sitting on my garage floor. I am still working on actually getting this thing running. What happened that you need new axles? Sounds like a good story.

Just had a fun time in what appeared to be dried lake mud that immediately turned to sludge and rock... thought I was going to be a permanent lake resident.
