YUMMY!

Everything is back off and I’m taking notes on new pieces I need to acquire. While taking off the heat shields, one of the bolts broke. So luck it was at least accessible. 🙄

Taking off the manifolds and ordering new shields then having both ceramic coated since I have a little time to kill.

You should see if they can put pink ceramic on there...since it is a lexus and all.

Ordered:
• Ron Davis radiator
• New fan
• New washer bottle
• New overflow tank (although I have other plans)
• Tune up kit
• All new hood rubber
• New exhaust manifolds (to be ceramic coated)
• New heat shields (to be ceramic coated)
• New fuse panel cover
• New ignition coil
• new power steering reservoir
• new gas filter
• new FPR

I need to find a decent valve cover. I have some plans...

If that valve cover comes off and doesn't get a custom Wits End paint job I will be sorely disappointed.

I wanted to play with hydro dipping. This gives me an excuse :hmm:

But also doing a little welding to it.
Anodized. All the cool kids are doing it.

Wait. that's probably what you're talking about. Sorry, I'm an analytical chemist.

No anodizing. Already went down that path.
OK, "water transfer printing?" Way too blingy new school for me. I still like rebuilding carburetors.

Yes it’s bling but I don’t want to spend $3k+ on a vehicle wrap so I gotta do something. It’s not spendy and I can always powder coat it if I hate it

I have a valve cover I could send your way.
It came off a ‘96 LX450.
Has new OEM spark plug tubes.
It came off my parts-car LX450. (Used for a month while waiting for my valve cover to sandblast & powder coat.)
