I only have 175k on mine. At ~5k a year, to reach 444,444 it would take me 53 years. In other words, I would hit that mileage on my 80 when I turned 80.

I am up to 280,000 but I no longer use it as a daily driver. Since I only use it for wheeling and hunting, it will probably take a long time to hit 300,000.

Only at 176000 and it only gets used for wheeling, camping, fishing...i won't ever catch up. Makes me kind of sad.

At 235K and only drive it 2K miles a year, rust will take my truck before mileage.

In Central Texas?

It lived for 14 years ranging across the midwest - mostly Wisconsin, some Nebraska. I bought it super cheap due to the rust, but it is slowly taking it's toll.

Calling vehicle rust "cancer" is SO appropriate.

Gotcha, I have lots of Amsoil MPHD if you want to test a can out since I'm just a few minutes away from Cedar Park. Kept all my stuff rust free (from WI) along with Eastwood internal frame coating.

eWillis, Wanta run that by me one more time? head gasket?

Yeah...your rigs have high mileage. Are one or both on the original head gaskets?

I haven't done any engine or tranny work on any of them. The 433K LX had some engine work done at 40K miles before I bought it but not sure if HG was involved. Don't know for sure about the others either because I am not original owners but based on sellers I bought from, I highly doubt any HG work has been done.

These odometer pictures are quite amazing and encouraging. I'm beginning to think I have the "holy grail". 1997 with 151,000 miles, added factory lockers and otherwise all original except for a few subtle modes. Matrix inverter, CDL switch. Original head gasket, radio etc.
