Which oil filter are you using?

going to do my first oil change on the cruiser and wondering which filter is best. toyota oem filters for my 92 pickup are now made in thailand

NAPA Gold filters are the good ones if you opt to not do Toyota stockers....only filter I'll use.

Not the best filter in the world but i have yet to actually burn up a motor due to a bad iol filter.

NAPA sells the NAPA gold filters. I run 10-40 oil

i guess that would make sense now wouldn't it (duh). Napa isn't common in Canada, at least not around here in Vancouver. I always buy parts from Lordco. Never been to NAPA, although i think there is one about 20 minutes from where I am.

It's on the right side in an industrial strip mall south of 80th Ave. The exact address is 201A-7889 132nd St., phone number is (604)543-7433. Ask for Bob...he very helpful and gives a "cash account" discount price similar to Lordco. I think my oil filters run me about $6/ea.

lists the ac delco as being equivalent to the NAPA/WIX quality-wise, but at half the price. too bad they didn't open up the toyota filters.
