Black it out. Lift it. Arb it. Wheel it.

Actually, they aren't illegal in most places. Most tire stores will tell you that though. And most tire places do not want to deal with anyone using them due to the possibility of a lawsuit.

I have some for sale in the FS section. Mine were made by Performance wheel in Colorado. The guy was anal, mine are much larger than the Ebay ones in diameter. This guy wanted my weight, tire size, type of use, hub diameter, and wheel hole diameter before he'd make them. They were twice as much as the Ebay ones that are made in China. But how much is your family's life worth? I ran mine quite a bit this last year and I never had an issue with them. Use a torque wrench to install them and torque them down to the wheel adapter specs not Toyotas.

I have since gone to smaller diameter and a narrower width tire so I no longer need them. I only ran them on the front to keep the tires off the upper control arms.

One other disadvantage I found is that when your front diff explodes you can't remove the drive flanges with the spacers installed. Whereas without the spacers you can pull the drive flanges without removing the wheels. So that was a lot of extra work on the trail!

Lastly, GOOD LUCK finding a 5 on 150mm wheel with 4" of backspacing in a size that will fit a 100 in any rim size. It is even worse if you want to stay with 16s. This is not a common bolt pattern and most of the wheels with this pattern were made for the Tundra crowd.

Utah Code UCA 41-6-148.32

(b) Except for original equipment, the use of spacers to increase wheel track width of
any vehicle is prohibited.

It used to read that adapters were okay, but not spacers.

Actually, here is one with 3.9" backspacing but you're right, really not that common and probably a maximum of 33" tires without a large body lift.

Is there a way to convert the 5 lug pattern to a 6 lug pattern? or are there 5 lug conversions that change the 5 bolt dimensions to a more common one?

I had wheels that had a +12mm offset (stock is +60mm) and i would VERY easily hit my fenders with 285/75/16 BFG ATs. Stock I went ;)

And why would you want to do that? I guess I'm just not sure why you're so hell bent on changing your wheels. There is only one reason I can think of to change out the OEM wheels, but I don't think that reason applies for your purposes.

What am I missing?

1" will have to cut studs

I have seen these wheel spacers on many Toyota's and you need to do a 1" wheel spacer or you will need to trim the studs down. You can avoid this by getting a bigger spacer however you need to think about your turning radius for clearance on the front whee.

i have seen these for sale at performancewheel.com they are all aircraft grade billet 6061 aluminum.

haven't really read into this thread, but I would run away from any sort of spacer. Just throw 315's on it and have fun.

Well Blemmie, first out of your 9 posts that didn't solicit your business. Tread lightly...

So has anyone ever been able to fit H&R spacers in the front? Or is Slee/spidertrax the only option?

And many people use Bora from Motorsport-tech.com
I’ve used their 3/8” spacers, 3/4” & 1” adapters. Just make sure to specify which axle you are installing them on, front or rear.
