I don't post stuff up here much anymore but I wanted to thank both of the Kevin's for their help over the last few weeks.

As some of you may know I destroyed my transfer case at Barnwell a couple of weeks ago and Kevin Brown was nice enough to give me the tcase out of the GATOR.

Everything has been replaced and repaired and I'm back on four wheels again so thanks again Kevin Brown.

Lightly used is questionable but at least they are low mileage in comparison. 30k vs 100K+. One of these days I will have to get around to swapping my 8" rear end for the 8.2" in the garage. I was hoping to regear it and swap to chromoly axels first. It seems like it would be easier to do with the rear end not on the truck. :p

I was productive today...

Welding and grinding on the trailer, hopefully making some good progress in the next few weeks.

Then I installed spidertracks spacers that have been in boxes for almost a year.

Next finished up fabing my rotopax mount, all done, 2-2gallon fuel packs on the rear door now. (pics tomorrow)

Lastly finished up wiring for some hazard lights, some orange LEDs in rear glass and front grill.

Also had a little helper for a good bit of it, so a very good Sunday :)

yesterday, testing flex with the new 315 size tires on new-to-the-40 80 series rims (I had run 33s for the past 9 years), we discovered that I managed to mangle yet another spring pin on the 40

as many spring pins as I have mangled by now, the guys don't like doing them anymore

I wheel them :flipoff2:

We've begun considering spring pins the 'default mangleage', for those cases where we look underneath that truck and can't find anything else broken...

The good part is that the way the pins break still allows to limp the truck home; the field fix isn't that much fun.

Finished putting new calipers, rotors, pad, and lines on the front.

Also removed the damage multiplier to get ready to mount a winch behind stock bumper.

Added a new yulara tent from TJM and Endless Horizons to the trailer. This is one nice tent.

Replaced the spare tire carrier with one that actually will accommodate a stock size FJ tire. Reused the original and some scrap from the EHEO trailer.
Ashlee actually gave me hand as well, knocked it out in a couple hours.
Just need to drill a third hole and maybe grind off some of the bottom.

Also got the last few parts in for suspension on the EHEO trailer.

Replaced passenger front wheel bearing assembly just to find out it's probably my cv going bad.

driver side knuckle rebuild on the 80

and garage organization around it because at first I couldn't find the rebuild kit  (note to self: leave stuff from Kurt in the box it came in  - the 'Kurt box' would have been easy to recognize)
