Nice recovery, I likely would have needed some fresh drawers.
thanks.
this was right around the time i quite smoking......... needless to say i had a few smokes after that.

Finally dropped the hammer on a winch. As much as I wanted to get a Warn again I decided that I couldn't pass up on a deal for a Smittybilt XRC9500. Especially for as often as I'll probably use it. The Roller Fairlead didn't fit the ARB so I dug up an old 70's steel cable hawse fairlead that my Dad had laying around. I guess they used to come standard on Warn's back in the day and you had to buy a roller separate. I'll get a roller at some point.

Got the doors mostly together. Need the weather stripping to finish that job. Whoever designed the upper hinges must have had small hands...what a pain! Also put in the updated brake switch...also a pain. The new one is about an inch longer and I had to pull out all the steering mounts and dash to get it in but I now have brake lights!

Got the rest of my kit in. Oil filter relocation.

Any luck on an engine?

Seen a couple come and go. Couldn't have acted on them anyway due to weather.

Ran out of propane for my garage heater, so I'm inside photochoppin' instead.

Thinking of getting a LED bar for the bumper. :D

Gonna stick it on tomorrow if anyone wants to stop buy and lend a hand.

Sweet bumper.

That looks sweet! What bumper is that? Where did you find it?

I was build by shop teacher up in Wyoming that builds them on the side. Got the "Teacher" deal on it, very happy.

Plastic is off and metal is ready to replace. Anyone want to help lift this baby into place? Got the heater going and some cool refreshments in the fridge. :D

Very cool. If you do need help I am not to far away so I could give you a quick hand if needed. Call or text. I won't be able to stay to long though. You guys and your bumpers and winches lately. Makes me feel like I am at a stand still with the jeep.

Thanks for the offer. I'm going to try using the jack to see how much success I have with that. If I can't manage it, I'll give you a call.

Man, a bumper for the 100 has been a long time in coming.

Thanks to Andrew for stopping by to help me wrestle this bad boy on. VERY happy with how it turned out.

It's also riding a lot smoother now that those Old Man Emu T-Bars we put on last year have something holding them down. Winch Time!

I dunno. You might want to put the plastic bumper back on... You know, much like IFS, toyota says it's better. Plastic is lighter, and works better....and steel bumpers are just so 1970's. Baja buggies don't have steel bumpers, in fact, they don't have bumpers at all...

:D

Your move fool. Lol.
