Coming through the floorboard and going to/from the carburetor. Line is frayed with a slow leak. Trying to identify so I can replace. I know y’all like pictures. Drawings show it but don’t identify, assuming it’s emissions related.

Thanks, does this require me to empty the gas tank? It's mostly full at this point...

someone needs to answer as I don't know where the return line enters the tank.

The hp hose is just thicker material
If the HP hose is thicker with the same ID, will it fit through the floor pan?

Here is the OEM arrangement for the fuel lines connecting to the tank:

The return line is connected to the middle of the driver's side of the fuel tank. You'll likely have to remove the center console to gain access. You should replace all the hoses on the supply and return lines.

I agree with @Pighead that you should us a higher grade of hose than the old standard R6 material. I used a Gates Barricade brand of hose (meets SAE 30R14 T1) that is designed to stand up to ethanol.

I suggest that @bamelanc replace the fuel line grommet (link below to @Racer65 website) and get some kind of grommet for the wires (fuel tank sending gauge) going through the floor pan next to the fuel lines.

Not all Fuel Hose is created equal:

I usually run the 30R9 for better (low) permeation.

I suggest using fuel line clamps like these, particularly when it's hard to access worm drive clamps:

The nice thing about the Toyota clamps is that they have a red "keeper" pre-installed on the clamp, allowing the clamp to slip over the hose easily. Then, needle nose pliers pull off the keeper, and the clamp is nice and tight, without the need to squeeze the ears to install.

The clamps are still available at the dealer, about $4 each, list:

The original OEM clamp for your truck,

Vapor Hose Clamp - Toyota (96132-51300)

appears to be still available, cheaper at $2.67 list, but may not have the red keeper.

Going nuts over fuel hose is great and all...but Toyota sells exactly what you need and I've found superior to anything over the counter in the states. Most anything rubber/epdm/neoprene whatever generally is superior from Toyotas subsidiaries.

95333-08100 - 8mm fuel hose. 100cm total length

Roughly $45-$50 at local dealer.

Actually 95333-08100. $64.87 list price for 100 cm, or 3.3 ft. ($44.93 at Conicelli Toyota online parts)

Gates Barricade 27314 5/16 x 25 ft list price $54.56. ($44.09 on Amazon) ($4.09 per ft at O'Reilly auto parts)

These are all great suggestions. Source hose, drain tank. Thanks everyone, just what I need.
