fired it up for the first time in a month. Time to tune the carb.

Rebuilt Carb with Keyster kit and soak in Gunk Carb cleaner ( one gallon can)

Before and after picks below. I installed new jets from kit .112 and .200 ( may be too large) The rebuild and new larger jets may have helped the performance, but the 35 year old motor mounts at end did not like it......

Replaced the water pump. Repainted the apron emblems and started cleaning the hood hooks today.

Oil pan gasket. It was a pain in the arse to separate the pan and to get it all cleaned up, but a lot easier to put back together thanks to Poser's instructions.

Collected her from the paint shop where she had all her imperfections and flaws fixed.

Then I removed those shackles that I shortened too much to have some longer plates cut ...

Partially installed my OME suspension. Had to stop and paint my roof.

Took a cutting wheel to the PO's bumper and replaced it with a brand new OEM one. Put a crayon on my dash pulls to brighten them up, and did a few other cosmetic things. In short, I treaded a little water sbefore taking on the replacing the rear sill.....

Replaced Shackle hangar on left rear spring on the '83 for obvious reasons. Also replaced front exhaust pipe which broke off last weekend. Loud and smoky ride home.

Where did you get your replacement Shackle Hanger? Is it oem?

Start changing the aspect to more OEM look on my RHD, got the pass sun visor, paint the PTO,chassis, front bumper,install 2 fog lights...while drinking some coronas to fight the Florida Heat....

that one its the Dunlop Snow Cruiser factory tire, H78-15.. dont know we can still buy it new,but there are more topics on stock tires,that tire its a little dry rot,still hold air

Put the restored heater in, put the gas pedal back in, started it for the first time in a few months. If it had a seat in it I could actually move it but lots to do before it hits the road, hopefully before the rain so I can knock the dust off of my OCD bikini.

Finished installing my OME lift kit in the rear. Front has a disc brake conversion going in. Then I will finish installing the rest of the lift.
