What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

I picked up my '74 from @Mudrak who did a great job transforming it into a reliable capable cruiser. I had already installed a header, power steering and disc brakes, and now the upgrade from a weber carb to efi is worth every penny. It now rides 2" higher than before thanks to the new suspension. I'm looking forward to taking it off road.

Decided to redo my exhaust, had a leaking muffler and really didn’t like how the old set up was. Broke out the flux core welder and got to town. A muffler shop could’ve done much better but at least it’s done and it’s not like I wanted it sitting outside up here in the north east. I did find a nice sounding muffler that fits the OEM bracket and is 2.25 inlet/outlet.

Beautiful job. Congrats!

Are the back panels available anywhere as an aftermarket item?
Thank you
No these are the original ones that came off the cruiser. I don’t think there are any aftermarket panels for these. Try the classifieds or ClassicCruisers in CO.

Its been a busy week. I installed a set of rotapax fuel tanks, a low profile pelican storage case and a set of tractions boards. Waiting for another case to come in that will attach on the pass side. I know I installed something else on my 76 BJ40 but I can't remember... ;)

Getting her ready for a trip to South Padre Island for some surf fishing...
