Adjusted my valves. I like flat fenders.

Afternoon - I installed some new tires this weekend.

They are a Nankang N889 MudStar M/T Radial Tire - 30X9.50R15LT that I purchased through Discount Tire. Thanks @60ranchero for the idea.

I included an image from a several years ago - before the OME Suspension and recent tire upgrade for a comparison. (of course there are a bunch of other upgrades over the years too). I think Goose leveled out nicely and looks much better with the tires!

While I like the patina, I'd like to find a shop that can get in there and cut out the small sections of rust, patch and primer/paint.

Nice Troopy you have there sir! Great pics as well, where are you located?
Rapid city, South Dakota. Thank you! Went up top of castle peak here in the black hills. I remember it being about 6300 feet and 7th highest peak in the hills. It use to have a fire tower on it long ago.

After 3 long years of trial and error i have successfully reproduced the all elusive 8/80- later 2F oil pressure sending unit boot / cap / rubber cover, :D

and re-designed the original sub-harness pigtail ...

original specimens have the side nipple for wire , mine don't , rather allow for the button connector to only be exposed

there were set up and molding mold fee's to consider as well on this detail .........

to keep it under a certain practical sense and means for all mud members alike .... :)

i also upgraded the original LAME Toyota split loom plastic to FLAME proof Kevlar JAPAN loom same as the fuel cut solenoid has ...

It’s it much..but it all helps.. got OEM harness ties, put a chafe barrier around the heater hoses, and received an old military box that was my grandpas before he passed away, now a parts/tools bin.

Quickly working it out though with a new Howell harness and the Dakota Digital cluster.

can we please see close ups photos of the ODD looking cluster meter on the LH side of your pics post 🤔

thanks

That is the Chevy ignition installed in the 40 when the swap was done. It’s gone and a new OEM ignition is back in it. 😉

Cheers

Use some wire wrap from summit racing to wrap wiring harness from firewall to headlights. And used some zip tie holders also from summit . I couldnt stand the dirty old harness on the freshly painted fenders.
