That's a real ground clearance killer. Do you want this so you can tow the LC, or is this for mounting attachments?

Might talk to Trail Tailor, or one of the other guys who makes a hidden winch mount for the 200 and see if it can be modified to have a 2" receiver on it. You' definitely have to cut up your bumper for the receiver to pass through with that option though.
No; I wouldn't tow with it.

From original post:
I've had these on our farm trucks and they are handy as heck when moving carts that steer
at the front where the hitch is located. I have a car trailer that will be much easier to move around
with this.

By the way. Here's the same area on a Tundra.

Got some anodized parts ready. What do you think of the clear on the hitch? I think it is too light, and would like the shop to redo them. From top to bottom black, red, clear and uncoated.

I have 5 uncoated recovery hitches that can be custom colored, select custom on the site and let me know what color you want.

@Killacaviar thanks for the reminder. I need to do the same.

Big Booty Bumps in the back…to properly compensate for a relocated shock mount. These keep the 35in MTs off the rear fender (with the help of a BFH)

May need to double check, I think the LX570s need a special offset bracket to clear the coils (or at least I did)

They Bolted up just fine with plenty of clearance. Now I'm second guessing I have them on the wrong sides... keep you posted.

Edit: seems like the new off-road bump bracket does not utilize the outer frame bolt. The bracket sits flush under the frame and uses those two mounts. It does seem like some brackets have the wrap around to the outer Frame mount. I could see those being an issue because you have no adjustment built into the mount.
I'm cleared on both sides with .75inches of spacer and removing the cup provided. These are the Active off-road bumps not the SES Helper.

Here are mine - also the off-road ones

They 100% changed the mount on them. Mine are still pushed out from the offset. But they do not wrap around the frame and have a good bit of adjustment built In. I ended up not using the 1in spacer I found and used a half inch one and then spaced down the mount with .25 inch shim. I'll grab photos this afternoon.

I'm curious - do you mind double-checking the part number your received (if it was on any box or something)? The ones in your picture look similar to the bump stops for the 100 series, 4runner, FJ Cruiser. It would be interesting if they bolted up fine, and if so then I wonder why they would change the mounting mechanism.

Got them from Slee: Rears present as ABSTORLC2 front ABSTOF both part numbers are on the box. Pictures on the website have the bend to the outer frame. Mine do not and the part numbers are accurate. So either the boxes were miss tagged, they put the 100 series style mount in a 200 box or they swapped the mounts to the other models. All are possible, either way they do what I need and function accordingly.

Real weird lol now we just need another person to buy the off-road rears and report.

I’ve had better days. I was Headed over to Central OR for a couple days of skiing and fishing. While Going through a small town on the route a ‘99 Taurus didn’t see me and pulled out in front of me and I nailed them. Going about 20 mph and no airbag deployment or injuries. driven by someone with no insurance or DL, of course. Amazed there is so little damage to the LC.

Recommendations for body shops in OR (Bend, South Willamette valley or Portland)?

Sorry man, hopefully you got their information. Your insurance should pay out your own claim, but they'll then in turn sue the person who didn't have insurance to pay the cost.

End of the day big point is that you and the family are safe.

No insurance or DL? Dang, I hope you turned them in. The best fix is a dissent bumper.

Glad to hear that you’re safe and such little damage occurred. No insurance and no DL sounds like an all too common occurrence here in Texas. I’d use the insurance to upgrade to an aftermarket bumper.
