2022 truck with 15K miles went into limp mode after I drove over a palm tree leave. Looks like the leave unplugged a cable that sent power from the ECU to the transmission.

Be careful out there for those in Florida driving over palm tree leaves. 😂😂😂
How did you get a 2022 LC?

1) Took the driver side knee bolster / underside of the dashboard apart to find a space for a RedArc brake controller. 2) Built a bracket to hold the controller. 3) Found that it was in the way of something when I put it all back together. Repeated steps 1, 2, & 3. Repeated steps 1, 2, & 3. Repeated steps 1, 2, & 3. Repeated steps 1, 2, & 3.
Hooked up the trailer and took it out for a spin to calibrate the brake controller

how to you like the controller? Coming from what’s in my Navigator to the redarc unit has been a little challenging to get it dialed in. Sometimes I wonder if it’s braking enough while at speeds above 20mph and up but if I’m in stop and go I feel it to the point of having to dial it back.

Having the two different modes is a nice benifit, though.

While out of town for work I was walking back to my car after eating and saw some poor guy struggling to change a flat on his highlander. He had no key for the security lugnut. After some prying, bashing, and dumpster diving I ended up hammering on a 12pt 19mm socket with a manhole cover while he held a stick taped to the socket and winced. A bent pipe from a nearby dumpster worked as a cheater bar to break the sucker free. Tire now changed we thanked one another and off he drove with my 19mm 12pt socket.

I reattached the rear mud flap after some !@#$% backed into my rig last week. Just enough of glancing blow to leave marks on the side of the rear bumper that wraps around while dislodging the mudflap.

Finally installed my EC OffRoad Tesla style head unit. Next is fiddling with the settings and getting used to Android.

Does it go dimmer than that at night? The eye fatigue would be insane if it didn’t.
There is a setting for that and about 10,000 other things.

Another lesson not to have locking lug nuts.

What kind of headlights?
Should have been more specific. I replaced the headlight housings with new OEM. As for the bulbs (which I think you might have been asking about) I replaced all of the bulbs with Hikari Ultras about two years ago. Other than the cooling fans being a bit loud I’ve been very pleased….and they’re hella bright!
