You aussies are really something.. I've seen red cruisers and I personally don't like them. not for me... Your red cruiser I love. What I'd do to go live there problem is I don't know if i'll want a TD 200 or 76. Hey since I'm dreaming I'll have both. Post up some more pics of RED one is not enough. And welcome to mud :flipoff2: <--- don't know why but apparently this is their official welcome

Hi smwa09

Great truck. What roof rack ya got there.

Its a 'tracklander' roof rack, modified the mount brackets so it was lower to the roof, less wind resistance and only used it to carry light stuff like swags and surfboards..... fairly well priced

the TTD200 are amazing. fairly good a fuel lots of grunt, i drive a single turbo v8 76 series Ute for work on a iron ore mine site and they are tough as nails especially driven of road 90per cent on extremely rough iron or pits roads, there not driven lightly either, never had issues with v8td engine in over 200,000kms on the clock, just couple clutches

but once i drove a 200 performance and comfort can not be topped in the 76 series, and to spend good money on a 76 will remind me to much of work when cruising around town in it on days off

Thanks! One more day before the site will allow. If anyone is interested we are selling our 100 series on Ebay that we have owned for 11 years, it's really clean. Look for the 1999 that says one of a kind. Same seller name... adamgamz

Installed some Duratrac 295/65/R18s onto my Tundra wheels yesterday. They look great, and only rub ever so slightly at full lock on the mudflap. Should be zero rubbing after a little finesse with a heat gun.

I also removed my factory running boards.

Thanks. You know where I got the idea from...;)

I haven't noticed any UCA rubbing yet. Very very slight rubbing at full turn on the front mud flap.

I took my front mud flaps off and haven't had any issues...I think it looks a lot better too. I tried taking the rear ones off, but there is a big gap behind where the flap would go. I wish someone would create a smaller rear flap. I don't really like the way they look, but I think a smaller one would be nice.
I really love those wheels BTW. Is the offset different from the stock ones? I'm guessing that's why you're not getting much rubbing.

I think it is the same offset, but I am not sure...

New front and rear brakes on the beast. At 78,000 miles, I was probably overdue some new pads and rotors. I have to say how much I enjoy working on my LC. No rusted bolts and everything is relatively large and accessible in the wheel wells. Compared to my beater '01 BMW 325, it's a dream working on the Toyota (I utter profanity every time I go to a simple maintenance task on the German SOB).

Back in college and just out, I worked on all my own cars..... they were all BMW's. Several 320i's, a 2002, first body style 528i and the final being a 535is. The oldest of all these was a 1987 model. They were easy to maintain.

I can't imagine working on them (newer models) myself now, nor the 01' 325 you mention.

The 325 is actually surprisingly simple and easy to maintain. It's just that my fat, uncoordinated sausage fingers have trouble in its cramped spaces. It also doesn't help that BMW likes special tools and the car is from the salty north. I have yet to find a bolt or nut that isn't rusted together. I'll take the LC in the garage any day of the week.

Holy Crap, that's serious miles. How's it holding up? All stock? How many miles are you getting on tires and what are you running??

These trucks are incredible. This is my first LC -- I have wanted one for over 20 years.

All stock. Holding up great. I've done front and rear brakes, and then the normal maintenance/fluids. Replaced OEM tires at about 55,000. I am running Michelin MS2 LT 275/65R18s now and love them. I need to replace the windshield because of some highway rocks, but the only other ding is on the rear bumper and was self-inflicted.

Definitely a lot of miles, but I've loved every one of them. It's been through 14 states so far (4500 mile trip to Yellowstone in the first month we had it, trip to Florida last year, and a lap or two in/around Texas). This rig takes me where I want to go, regardless of the conditions, and keeps my family safe getting there and back.

I love it.

Great to know. I know on the 100 forum there were threads for high mileage trucks so all could watch out for potential issues. Glad to hear no issues.
I'm running Michelin ms2 275-60-20s in the summer and 275-65-18s in the winter. They are fantastic highway tires.
