Got me some new shoes and rims. Then took a nice long weekend up in the mountains testing them out.

Awesome.
This was the one I had picked out but held off buying until I could take some measurements to see if id did exactly as you posted!!!
What an awesome forum.
They also make an optional lighting kit for it and they're the only hitch carrier manufacturer that does, AFAIK.
REF: ROLA hitch carrier lighting kit
Yes, I also ordered the brake light kit, and it works great. The connectors for the lights do protrude a little bit into the cargo area, but I don't think it will be much of a problem.

I just got some itty bitty fuses for my 2013 "fancy tow rig" - seems my car hauler trailer was apt to popping "towing tailight" fuses" I think I have it figured out...Whoever built the trailer is shy one wrench.....

wrench was pinching a wire, but not enough so thast it didn't cause a proiblem foir ~3 years.....Love my Trail Talor rear bumper BTW!!!

Tested fit of new ROLA 59502 Vortex hitch cargo carrier. Very solid. I seriously think this must have been designed with the LC200 in mind, because everything about it fits / lines up perfectly. For example, note the perfect height and angle match with the tailgate lowered. The slight upward angle on it is perfect.

I also bought the waterproof cargo bag w/ built-in strapdowns for it, but won't have a chance to test that out for another week or so.

That looks like a really nice solution! With it being a little further back to clear the tailgate, how does it impact the rear camera view?

Good question. I'm not sure - I'll have a better feel of this after the trip I have coming up. To be honest, whenever I'm going to use the hitch cargo carrier, I'm assuming that the rear camera will be completely blocked by the cargo I'm hauling anyway.

New Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Gen 2 - 84"L x 49"W (52107F) with the backbone (RTLB1) installed. Install wasn't bad, just took my time removing the stock rack bolts. Assembling the platform took ~45 minutes total I think (I did it over several days is 10-minute chucks while holding my baby). Install was 2 hours going slow, removing the stock rails, and with cleaning out the gutter. Very solid rack, I'm 230 lbs and was walking around on it. It does add wind noise but I cannot hear it over the road noise and with my sunroof shade closed. I also have a 40" Stedi light bar to install when I get the time.

This install video was pretty helpful to see what I was getting into but the included paper instructions were clear too:

I enjoyed the one I installed on the GX, good stuff.

I used it to yank out a large stump from the neighbors yard. Unfortunately the SO just watched instead of taking any pics.
He did a good job of digging it out and cutting the main roots. I tried when he was about half way and it would not budge at all.

Minor upgrade today from Slee - DBA rotors and pads on all four corners. Initial impression is positive - more bite, better feel, etc.

I realize this isn’t as far as I could take this upgrade - tundra calipers, stainless steel lines, etc can be added later if I want to go all-in.

My goal was to improve performance even if only minor. So far, so good.

(Pay no attention to the rock scuffs on the wheels - I blame the driver)

Ran up to the mountains to test them out -

Man there were a lot of kooks up there, like the minivan that blew past me on a narrow mountain trail and hit my mirror - or the dude in the class C motorhome trying to drive up a trail that was about 1.5 cars wide. ha.

Other than that, nothing too LC specific, but I am getting the Opus ready for a trip soon. Threw on a trasharoo as well as a couple Toyota wheels to see if I could switch out the Opus wheels... bolt pattern is right but the hub seems larger than Toyota - anyone have experience changing wheels on these trailers?

What's a set of rotors cost? pretty sure LX is going to be due some new ones in the next few months and I'm not wanting to think what Lexus will want to charge me for the privelige

How is the ride changed from stock?

Not bad at all. I'm pretty used to load E's but even my wife didn't notice too much of a difference. She just commented that it felt a little less "squishy land yacht"

Is this the start of a larger build? *fingers crossed* Your 100 was one of my inspirations when I was originally shopping for a 100 long ago. I’d love to see/read how you would approach the 200.

Curious to hear how those fit.
Here's the finished product - such a different look over stock configuration. Tires rubbed quite a bit on the front mud-flaps and inner fender plastic at turning.

My research here led me to believe with this wheel/tire combo that while there would "some" rubbing it should be minimal. However, we had to pull off the mud-flaps completely.

I may go down to 285/65 and call it a day.

I hope so! We'll see how the funds shake out.. I have a Tacoma I'd really like to supercharge and long travel as well so I gotta stretch the mod money. For now I think I'm going to keep it mild and maybe add a compressor and some lights, and maybe suspension, and .... you know how it goes. haha.

If anything I'll start with a minimal lift - King or Fox 2" ish - but no sliders or bumpers on this one.
