Finished the conversion of my 2019 LC base to a Heritage Edition....while retaining my center armrest cold box and my third row seats available for reinstall (takes about 30 minute) any time I need them. And oh yes...all of my wheels match including the spare. It is identical to the H/E EXCEPT for the black interior which I find boring anyway...mine is black & red...and the black interior has bronze sticthing in the seat covers and center console areas. I ignored that...again...I like my interior better. I also removed the chrome body side moldings which IMO looks better and matches what Toyota does with the H/E. Removal is easy...just pry them off gently and then I filled the 8 holes in the doors left behind and painted the scars. Pulled the running boards/side steps...which was similarly easy...too.

Here are the part numbers...many are not easy to find as Toyota seems to not want us owners to do this. You are NOT supposed to be able to buy the Bronze TRD wheels except on a one for one exchange basis. I had a couple dealers tell me this. Finally found one in Chicagoland who made it happen...and for a reasonable (your opinion like your mileage might vary) price. See below. The price was steep...but nowhere near as steep as trading in on a one model year newer H/E! Heck mine is barely broken in And I got more utility because of the third row seats and the cold box. And oh yeah...I have the Yakima Megawarrior (YakRack) for the roof too...got it locally on ebay for $350. I think Toyota wants about $750 for it....list is $449.00 at non-Toyota sources...IF you can find someone who still has one. I won't mount it much...except when I move or go camping...but I wanted it for the authenticity...and the way I did it the marginal cost was pretty low compared to the rest of the upgrade. If you like what I did questions are welcome. If you don't...well...just enjoy your own LC...that's what America is about.

For the Tonneau Cover in the luggage area the OEM retention brackets at the rear are molded into the (large 2' long) plastic fascia pieces on either side...these cost big bucks (about $750) to change...and they are not all that easy to change either...so I fabricated workable retention points from 1x1" wood dowel (cost $2.50) and some wood working skill...see pics. Wouldn’t you have been ahead just trading yours in?

Details? I have a pair of Squadron-R Pros that I just took off of my 4Runner. I was hoping there was a way to use them on my soon to arrive 200.

Direct bolt on. Just like 4runner. I’ve been looking for a while and finally found a solution.

Here’s the link

Don’t you lose some of the output? Our fogs are squared off while the Tacoma is round. Seems from your pictures that the OEM fog light shround covers part of the BD lens.

Hard to tell on output since I never adjusted any of the lights after lift. It does throw light out further than factory fog and you do lose the squared off light.

Just got it back from the detailer, full front Xpel & OptiCoat Pro +. Got rid of all the swirls from who knows how the dealer washed it. The blue pearl within the paint shows up now. Now I just need a sunny day to appreciate it.

Noticed a tire isn’t quite balanced. Sad they use these DunlopLooking forward to the winter OZ Rally Raid with Blizzaks set showing up. says they shipped today.
Wondering what exactly to do since they don’t have a center cap.

Then some Woolwax underneath and head up north!

Slowing myself so I can keep myself interested with upgrades. Keep it stock new for now, lift and tough it up along the way. (And I’ve spent enough for one month!)

Found the previous owner really hated wheel bearings. Driver side was missing an o ring and failed. Passenger side I now see is missing a bolt, and dust cap ruined. So, now $300 later passenger hub and bearing inbound.

No discernable difference on driving at all.

I does now rub against the front mudflap a bit. I'll remove/trim it up in a few days along with a re-torque of the spacers.

I put the Spidertrax spacers on a new LC and could not get the vibrations out after multiple attempts to balance and reinstall the damn things. If you start getting vibrations I would bin the things and move one. They are not worth it in my opinion.

x2...this is exactly where I was with spacers, too many issues for the gain.

I don’t like the concept. Period. You create a moment arm on components that were not designed for it.

Buy higher offset wheels if you want poke. Not spacers.

I cleaned the hats and contact points real good to minimize any leftover material that could lead to fitment woes... So far so good, interstate and city driving. Hitting up a new trail next week and will see how it impacts that type of driving.

Definitely a 'trial' solution, lift inbound in a few weeks and sometime next year some new wheels, either TRD/HE or aftermarket, so this is a means to see how a different offset acts up.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Did you order the headlights directly from the dealer?
