Took the LC over to the scales to get a baseline read on the current weight with RFT, dogs, loaded drawers and existing upgrades. So we're at 6880 without the wife, fridge/freezer, food, clothes or extra water. Seems we likely already exceeding the GVWR of 7385 lbs with basic overnight camping load on board. Planning for the inevitable suspension upgrades. Have been considering BP51s but want to make sure we get the extra GVWR and maximum adjustability to maintain unloaded and loaded capabilities.View attachment 2469595
Smart move on getting weighed before dialing in BP51 and OME spring choice.

New brakes went in on all four corners today. EBC Stage 3 Rotors with Greenstuff pads. Happy to get rid of the pulsating OEM rotors.

any chance you could get some brighter photos up? thinking about the same set up as it is indeed close to a Braid wheel aesthetically.

Normally I don’t care about embellishments but thought it an easy way to support @NLXTACY. At least this was the fun part of the order (1FZ oil pump seal kit has to be tackled now).

1up hitch rack arrived today, just in time for the snow.

Completely modular, pic shows the 4 bike setup, but can be reduced to 3, or 2 bike quickly. This thing is quality.

I went out in a limb and tried to be Different by having some bbs tundra pro wheels polished and Gold clear sealed. I was going for the Heritage wheel with a twist. I saw this on another wheel and though it might work for my 200, but nope. Absolutely not. lol. I’ll be re painting or powder coating them soon. I also switched from 33/12.5/18 km3 to a 275/70/18 Ko2. I had km3’s on a 100 series lx470 before and it was fine on that truck, however on this 200 it left me desiring a smoother /quieter ride. I went from 104 lbs (with air, didn’t get a picture) to 87 lbs per wheel corner. Lost appx 17 lbs per corner making this switch. The ride is so much smoother and quieter than the muds tire. I Would have liked to go with a wider 285/65 Ko2 but I had this 1 almost new 275 laying around from a past build. The last picture is what my inspiration was. Epic fail

Nicely done, that’s some serious weight loss ditching the km3s. I am at appx 88 lbs with my Evo Corse wheels and Kenda Klever RTs in lt275/70r18.

Sometimes the color is hard to tell in pictures vs in person but it looks like the gold color is too glossy? Is that your hang up? Matte gold is a nice combo with white vehicles.

@TLC2013 I think it’s too yellow / brass color. Like a trumpet. I guess I had more of a bronze color in mind. Don’t get me wrong, it’s my fault. I told the powder coated to do the same as the picture he showed me. I’ll either do the same Bronze as I had on my other wheels. Which at first was too bright for me. Perhaps I’ll just match the Heritage gold color. Part of me wants to do Gloss Black, it’s so clean, but also boring. I’m already in the hole so much on these wheels. I just want to get it right and be happy.

Lubed drive shaft and changed the oil and filter. Used Toyota 0W-20 and OEM filter.

First time I've changed this oil and filter on my 13 TLC since I got it a couple months ago. PO had it serviced at the dealer. Sure glad I did this myself as I don't trust others with this. Clear evidence of this when I noticed the engine under cover seal (the flap covering the oil pan drain plug) was missing as well as 3 bolts from the driver's side splash shield. Plus, the oil filter cap was so tight I was afraid I was going to bust the plastic to bits. Sprayed some PB blaster and used a breaker bar to get it loose.

Many thanks to those here who wrote/contributed to the oil/filter change threads I used. Biggest tip was putting a hose on the end of the oil filter plastic cap to control the out flow.

I’d be wary of PB Blaster on plastic. Might degrade/crack the plastic. Do some research/checks on it.....
