Should I be irritated? Ordered a Nitro front axle 4.88 ring and pinion. Excited to get it but it was just the bare ring and pinion, tossed in a generic box, with some BS paper filling. Not even secured enough to keep them from moving around it did look like they banged together a couple times. Is this what new Nitro parts packaging looks like?!

I need to start charging more.
What do you normally charge for a condenser and hard line replacement including Freon? I like my shop but was surprised at the replacement costs. It might be a lot more labor intensive than I’m imagining.

Condenser shouldn’t be too long, but which lines? (—there are many.)

Thanks.

No way new parts should ever be shipped like this, let alone used parts.

It was with a vender I hadn't done business with before. At least the return process is easy and I'm only starting to collect parts.
I ordered rotors from FCP euro for the p-car. they must have opened it because the rotors were inside each other, nothing in between. the original box was all torn up.
i called and had them send me new ones. they told me to keep the ones i already got because it would make zero sense to ship it back.
new one, the rotors were facing each other and had a piece of cardboard in between and box was intact.

i get shipping heavy things is hard but damn, add some padding. you know the knuckleheads at fedex/ups don't give a f.

It could been the box broke open and the shipper repacked it. We actually had a customer complaint about a live round of ammo in a shipment of springs that were due to be fed into a robotic assembly line. Upon further examination, they said it appeared the box had been broken open and debris from the truck floor had been included in the re-taped cardboard box. UPS denied their involvement.

If you ever want to ship me anything, I will not ask any questions…
