I need these two clips. Anyone have a part number?

Boards off, flaps on. Left the wheels on for additional level of difficulty. Ha. Not bad, just two blind screws each side.

Since I bought my LX, the door panels have rattled and squeaked, which drives me insane.

I took off the panels today and the area where the panels rattle and squeak (by the arm rest) were already well padded. I thought there may have been some plastic rubbing against the inner door, causing the noise. I figured out that the noise was coming from the door panel edges. There is some black foam around the sides and bottom of the door and I guess mine had just deteriorated through the years. I lined it with some felt tape and the noise seems to have gone away. Since the panels were off, I also replaced the speaker covers since they were pretty beat.

Now the bad news... The window switch trim was a f...cking PITA to take off. I read the tutorials and also watch a few videos so I knew how to do it, but wow... I cannot get the driver side trim to sit flush after reinstalling and I managed to chip off a piece of the passenger side trim when I was removing it. I know that will drive me crazy so I am going to replace it. I have a feeling the trim won't be cheap... :crybaby:

I'll have my shop change the trim next week when I go for an oil change. Hopefully the can snap the drivers side trim in place so it sits flush like it did before.

Breaking in the new ‘03 with a quick camping outing this evening before the mods begin. Ha. Cute wife. Cute dog. Life is good.

Jumped up to 295/70/18 Cooper STT Pro. Pinch weld knocked down, reshaped the plastic fender liners with a heat gun. Really liking the look, and not a huge hit on performance. Drops into 4th a little sooner on some hills. Will probably space the front bump stop before wheeling, just to be safe.

Well I started my paint correction until the Florida weather hit. I managed to get about halfway done. This is my first attempt so there are some scratches left but my main goal was to make the paint shine again. I’m not aiming for perfection as there are a bunch of rock chips, a good dent on the passenger side thanks to the previous owner and the trim needs to be completely repainted. There isn’t any wax on it yet but it is SOO much shinier. Now my husband wants me to polish some scratches on his ‘17 tundra ;) I guess I owe him since the last time I drove it some crazy lady took a shopping cart down 3/4 of the drivers side at the grocery store :rage:

Here’s a before, after one round of compound and polish, and me in action

Nice job! What products did you use?

I had the help of some local mudders and installed the Tough Dog lift on my LC this weekend. Not everything is just right yet but I'm glad it's in.

Also installed Jason's diff drop and extended links, and greased the drive shaft. Everything is much more accessible with a few more inches of clearance!

Looks good GA! I wished I could have dropped by and helped out. I guess I will see you on Tuesday for the monthly meeting.

Thanks! Not bad for the first time. I used some cheaper turtle wax heavy duty compound on my heavy cut pad and Meguiar’s mirros glaze fine cut on my medium pad. Hopefully I can finish those two all the way around then hit it with the show car glaze on my finishing pad and wax or seal it. I went the cheaper route since it was my first time. My drivers side has only been hit with the heavy duty compound and my neighbor saw that side, came over to ask if I got it painted. So I’m not disappointed for using some ok products. Next time I might splurge on some higher end stuff now that I feel comfortable with my machine and he process.
