What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (81 Viewers)

It was a busy weekend. I went scouting for elk sign with a good friend of mine. We were scoping spots for opening day that will be here before we know it. He's ridden in my 100 a good number of times, had fallen in love and finally purchased a LX470 in early summer. We've been base lining it, put in some bags and pulled the boards. He just put 33s on it last week, so he was anxious to get it on dirt and into low range.

I was then able to make some more progress on my electrical setup. All that is left now is to fab the ACR bracket and get that installed so I can link the two batteries. Then I can start stripping out my old wires (CB, spots, etc) and get those wired up to the fuse block to clean up the engine bay a bit. Pretty happy with the progress so far!

It split the rear gate of the XC , but

it was made of fiberglass or something, most of the impact was rear wiper and bumper some how. Now I get to play an insurance game of who is going to fix this on a 1999 , 260k mile truck.

Finally got my Rock Warriors done. Had them powder coated a bright silver as opposed to the gunmetal and the rings a metallic gunmetal. Had the tires laying around so just put them on for the time being. Waiting on a big tire order that has my AT2s in it. But couldn’t be happier with how they turned out.

Bummer for sure. The insurance game sucks but you clearly have improvements to the vehicle that will get you money if you present receipts.

Installed this $56 eBay / Amazon steering wheel cover in the 99’. Turned out pretty good for the price.

Not my first choice. Its a decent tire. Not very loud and seem to ride pretty smooth. I just had them laying around from a customer that said he didn't want them. The Toyo AT2 is a great tire and what I've run on my last few vehicles. Hard to beat a 60,000 mile warranty!

I had almost identical damage done to my 100 but under very irregular circumstances.

If you can get a new quarter panel for a reasonable price (there are options out there) and grab a used door (looks like it was damaged as well) you can probably get that repaired for around $6k US.

Someone crashed their bicycle into my rear bumper and left so there was a huge scratch and chunk of paint came off. Just thought i'd see how LX looks with different colored bumpers like the LC so i gave it a quick rattle can and 2K clearcoat. Not sure how i feel about it?
