Dropped the truck off to diagnose an AC leak, dreaded rear AC lines rotted due to packed mud from off-roading and it being a (formerly) northern vehicle. Decided to have them replace all the rear AC lines to make sure it's good to go, still waiting on the total. Won't be cheap, but I have to have my AC - even in the rear...

@FxFormat .... sidebar....are you running 275/70/18 for the tires? Also, do you have spacers on those Tundra wheels to get them out a bit? Looks like they are flush with the fender.

Yeah i'm running 275/70/18 General Grabber AT2. Love them, quiet, smooth, and awesome in the rain and light off road so far. Haven't tested in snow yet but i heard they are good.

I'm lifted 30mm in the rear and the front TB cranked about 5 turns each side. Also running 1.25" Ebay spacers for the last 1000 miles, no vibrations or any odd behavior, steering did get a little less responsive, but the handling improved. Sorry i don't have good angle, ill try to snap one tomorrow, but it sits flush, the way stock should've sat IMO.

Thanks for the reply! I just put on 275/70/18 KO2s 2 weeks ago before I headed up to CO. They sit a little "inside" the wheel well. I just bought the same wheels as you have off Craigslist for $100 for all 4. I'll order the SpiderTrax 1.25" spacers and should get the same look as you have which is what I'm aiming for.

OH wow how did you score those wheels for $100? Stole that for sure. Are you stock, or lifted?

Hey @FxFormat why the different (bigger) center cap on the fronts? I thought with 1.25's that the original Tundra center caps would fit. I like the originals better, the look is much more flush.

Cheers,

Stock LX (other than sliders, IronMan bullbar, Gamiviti rack and some other stuff). Yup....$100 for all 4 in perfect condition. Seemed too good a deal to pass up.

The rear stick out just a tad pass the fender, looks really good when you're looking at it for behind, or 3/4 view...

With the 33" tires and tundra 18s, you're looking at almost 100lbs per corner. Truck will feel a little slower, and rotating tires will break your back. I didn't know how heavy it was the first time i lifted it, threw my back out for a few days. popped Ibuprofen like mints.

Well, I'm on 18" Lexus wheels (previous tires were 285/65/18 TerraGrappers), so weight should be about the same. I just really like that Tundra wheel style better. Thanks for the pics! That's exactly what I'm looking for....just enough sticking out that I can see where I'm placing my tires when off-roading without having to lean all the way out my window.

New 100 (60 and 80 series too) REAR antenna OR LED pod mount. I'll have a price on these in a couple of days. Need to weld them out and finalize numbers.

Hoping for a 85-95$ shipped bare metal price per PAIR. Once I get to Redding I can get some powdercoated for ~10$ more per pair.

Thanks guys,

J

Will you be offering these individually in the future? I already have a DS rear mount and don't want to purchase a pair just to use the PS mount

Not that exciting but thought a few others might appreciate this stereo work around for the 100's. This also fits the category of best things to do under $100
Bluetooth adapter that plugs into power port. It does broadcast to radio but that sound quality is poor. However it also has a ⅛" jack you can plug a tape adapter into. The bluetooth pairs quickly and easily and it includes a usb port to charge your phone.
The ash tray helps to organize the cords.
Not a gigantic lift but makes any trip better.

Do your cutoffs from each headlight converge? If so, at what distance? It seems like they converge into one beam at a pretty short distance... does that mean they cross over each other when they hit the road? People seem to either insist they must converge down the road, or insist they must remain an equal distance apart. Not sure who's right.

They converge and become a single unit at around 25 feet, as i back up the "stepped" part will separate into two individual beam, i'm not sure what's right and what is wrong but i haven't gotten flashed by oncoming traffic yet and i can see clearly driving in the boonies with no street light. These are awesome, i have the Morimoto Mini D2S Bixenon projectors.
