Today I made a mount for my cell phone, A couple other mud members have done this as well. By removing the tape player internals you have access to four posts where you can mount a plate. Then it's just a matter of measuring the plate and welding at attachment point that sticks out of the opening of the tape deck. Then it's all RAM mount gear from there...

What brand? Can't make it out in the pic.
Comforsur... I had never heard of them before, but since this is a back up rig and I got a smoking deal on the tires I grabbed them, they make a little noise:) but not too bad!

My 14yo and 12yo have been learning to drive in an empty parking lot in our 100. I've been putting it in low range and sitting in the passenger seat where I can kick the tranny into neutral and yank the e-brake if anything goes wrong. It's been working great except for the center diff and turning at the end of the parking lot. So, did the pin 7 yesterday, no more auto lock center in low. Took about 10 minutes.

- remove two screws at bottom of glove box, remove glove box
- remove 3 screws holding plastic trim in front of ECU, remove trim
- remove 3 bolts holding ECU in place, tip ECU out of the way
- slide tranny control ecu off clip holding it upright, unclip wire harness going into it
- unpick black wire with blue tracer (not blue wire with black tracer) and protect bare pin (tape or shrink wrap)
- button everything back up

^i did this when we first bought the truck and I've loved having it as an option. The kids are learning to drive in the coolest truck out there

for those of us not so brave, Wizgear sells a magnetic mount that slips over the air vent.
