I am planning to do mine.. Would love a write up..

Thank you..

Repaired mine yesterday. @vjr021 is right. It sounds so much better. I replaced the door speakers earlier this year, but had to keep the bass turned down. KISS drawers are on their way, so this needed to be taken care of first.

I received my OEM fuel filter sourced from ebay ($12) today, installed it in 10 minutes. No placebo effect yet. I plan on cutting open the original in a couple days to see if it was as nasty inside as the one posted a few days ago by user 'Dwight S'.

Installed a GROM Vline in my LX

Installed an ARB TPMS kit in my kid's LC

Painted 03 18" Landcruiser wheels gunmetal and mounted them with 285/65/18 BFG ATs, thanks to another member here:

Wiped the wheels clean with degreaser, 2 coats of Duplicolor Self-etching Primer, 3 coats of Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Paint in Graphite Gray, 2 coats of Duplicolor Clear. Mine didn't have tires mounted yet, but if mounted, use index cards and masking tape for the tires.

Been busy fixing my interior. Got the steering wheel recovered by Santoni Steering Wheel in Lauderdale FL. Santoni Steering Wheels

It is done in black in lieu of the dark shadow gray as original Toyota. Tino Santoni tried to find a suitable gray leather but couldn't find any that he was satisfied would match, so we agreed to go black. Think it looks fine. Feels SO MUCH better that that old, cracked and pitted wheel.

Replaced the timing belt on this new to me LX470. It was only 108k mi. Overdue. Thankfully the rear u-joint failed & the PO parked it after 3 shops failed to diagnose it properly.

Changed out failed front sway bar bushings too. Yay, one Squeek & that obnoxious Slap sound gone.
One bushing was mostly missing, & the other had been shimmed.

Wow who would just shimmed a worn out bushing... I thought mine looked bad but nothing compare to this

For $20 bucks I finally replaced the dead shock struts for my hood! I was getting tired of always using a small vice grip on the shaft of the dead shock or a stick to hold up the hood for the past several years.

Muy happy!

Did you get them from a chain parts store or online?

Finally managed to find some time to install the sliders that have been sitting in my garage for a month or two. Probably should have de-AHC'ed this first, but eventually I'll get around to that.

I've got my Dissent front in the garage, will be dropping this off at the powder coating guy within a week. Also have a winch sitting in the garage awaiting the bumper.

Is this a kit you bought and installed or dealer install? Looking to do something with my 18 yr old tan!!

Go to roadwire.com and input your information on your kit and make the purchase through them and they will ship the kit to one of their authorized installers and they will install. Purchase price includes installation. They list the three row kit, but also offer just front or front and second row kits. I actually went to a local customization shop that looked at my truck and offered up the Roadwire kit for a couple hundred less than the online purchase/install price. Not sure if installer realized how complicated the install was. He said it was the most involved installation he had done.

Kit included all seats, back of second seat vinyl, new front seat back vinyl with pockets and replacement door panel diagonal stitched leather panels in same color as leather. Didn't include center console cover. I didn't like the seat back pockets, rather keep my net pockets. The installer used one of the pocket pieces to create the center console cover. He has ordered new vinyl to recover the seat back pieces and reinstall my net pockets. Also didn't want door panels changed.
