Won these reasonably at auction so figured why not. Should be here by Christmas. Let's see how they look in real life.

Are those LEDs? They look nice. Please do update us how you like them.

Installed new sway bar bushings, and links, rotated the tires, and greased it today.
Was going to install the "new" foglamps from cruiserparts, only to open the package and find out that were they not only not new, but broken as well!
Gonna have me a little chat with them Monday...

Dang man, sorry to hear that.

After I get my steering rack sorted out I'm thinking about hitting them up for some newer used lenses myself.

Thanks, this isn't the first time I've had an issue with them. Getting kinda jaded already.

Picked up a 99 LX about three weeks ago.

Last week, I did the oil, transmission fluid, and spark plugs.

Yesterday, I changed out the transfer case and front/rear diff fluid. I currently have an LS in the rear, so I made sure to use two tubes of friction modifier. Also greased up my driveshaft. While doing all that, I noticed both of my UCA ball joints have torn boots. Not sure if I should just reboot them, or pull the arms, press them out and slap in a new set. Since I am in there anyway, might as well replace the rubber bushings as well... And since I have gotten the arms out of the way, might be a good time to reboot the CV joints. And... Well, you know how projects tend to snowball

Tuesday, I am planning on a full AHC flush and attempt to connect my new little Techstream gizmo. See what my AHC pressures look like...

I wheeled it on the most difficult trails I've ever had it on with Gotham City Land Cruisers. I am hoping to get some pics. soon of a ledge I had it on that I struggled with. Had a blast, and what a great group of guys. All jumped out of their trucks to spot and coach me through difficult sections when I needed it.

Finally swapped the old 14-year old AHC coils for slightly used non-AHC ones.
Took less than 1 hour.

Purchased my first LC/LX this week. Excited to join the club, modify the truck, follow and post here on MUD!. Been reading plenty in the past few weeks and thanks to you all who helped me so much without even knowing it. This site is the greatest.

It's a 1999 LX with 179k. Super clean exterior and interior. Had maintenance records from the local Lexus dealership which gave me great peace of mind. Nearly a strait swap in $$ for the wife's Impreza. We are both super excited!!

And apologies if a first post should not be in this thread. I'm still learning.
