I'm not done but far it looks very promising..

My wife feels weird having something that interrupt her field of vision, so I end up making a very adjustable "Crane" That I can located pretty much anywhere I want, or take it out in like 2 seconds

The Manfrotto arm is a engineering beauty, with the knob in the center (pain in the butt, because is very voluminous and sticks out almost 3 1/2") you can lose the two ends, joints, everything and move the arms as you please, Not cheap, but super nice, ultra rigid.

\\

As always I had to use bicycle parts, this time the upper clamp from a Cannondale lefty fork..

I still need to make the base for the crane, I'm going to used four 6mm riv-nuts I mount them to the bottom of the cars tranny bump (the under the dash/tunnel thingy..)

I will make a post after I test it for a few days, Oh all this mess is so I can run the Torque pro app..

Oil change, front bearing repack, new front rotors, and pads. Drives like new. 247k.

... ripped the speaker fabric off, and painted the grilles.

Slick, I don't think I've seen the grills painted before. Wonder if there's a color that would closely match my tan interior.

As stated above, I picked up a "camo" tan and it looks good. There are so many tan and brown shades in our trucks. haha So much better then the ratty dirty covers that where on there when I bought it.

Does anything need to be disconnected (brake lines, sway bars, etc, etc....) before you drop the rear end to be able to slid the spacers in?
When I replaced the coils about a year ago, I followed the step by step instructions here, but when I put the spacers in, I only disconnected the sway bar on each end as I was working on it - none of the lines were ever stressed. I'd say just put the frame on stands, disconnect one side's sway bar link, jack up the other side and watch the lines - if it's like mine, you can get both coils out without disconnecting anything else.
