Got the popular ko2 in 275/70/18 size.
Good tires. Anyone know if a same size spare will fit into the spare tire area?
I have 2004 100. Thanks.
Nice!

I have the original KOs on my 03, same size, spare fits underneath without issue.

Just changed the front/rear diff fluids and motor oil.

Just got mine back from my mechanic... Turns out after driving her home from Houston, the previous owner(s) hadn't changed the timing belt ever in 167k miles (as well as a good amount of other maintenance issues so I got quite the lanudry list... Timing Belt, Water Pump (and pulleys), Alternator, full front diff rebuild, changed all fluids and a boatload of other little things. But at least now I know she is good to go!!

Installed some new 2015 Tundra 1794 wheels 275/55/20 Dunlaps. The front caps do not fit. I just placed them on there for the pictures. I'm going to have to do Spidertrax spacers of drimel the front caps. It really rides a lot better with the 20" wheels.

Finally, nearly 6-weeks after starting work replacing punctured A/C line (and $$$ of related lines/parts)...blame Doug Thorley*...and a maddening experience with Toyota Corp (kept sending mislabeled parts...from Japan no less...their customer service sucks*...) my A/C is back to blowing very cold air.

But serious kudos and thank yous to Onur (beno) and Village Point Toyota (Omaha) for all their related legwork...and being my cuss'n sounding board

And a speciall thanks to Cameron @FJ60Cam for urging me to do my first A/C repair work! I learned a ton and even though all the parts were $$ I saved at least $1200 labor!

*will update my ROTM with all the minutia detail for the seriously bored :D

Drove my 100 series LC to the lexus dealership to pick up my wife's new GX460 (aka Land Cruiser Prado) - it's sweet!

Thinking about doing the same this weekend. What weight oil are y'all using? I purchased a bunch of Mobile 1 75/90 synthetic but think I read here that it takes 80/90. Couldn't find 80/90 in synthetic.

I used 80-90 Valvoline conventional. It was so easy to change that I wouldn't mind doing it more often as needed and it was less than $7 a qt.

I had the same issue with some front caps... I found a hole saw that was just bigger than the bearing cap that is keeping your center caps off drilled a hole in the center of the cap... cleaned the bearing caps and quick sprayed them black... popped the caps on ... doesn't even look bad... and A Lot better than no or different center caps...

I bought Amsoil 75w90 synthetic. That weight is the synthetic equivalent from all my reading.

Bought online it was here 2 days later.

Installed BIO Step Sliders:

Cross post from the BIO step slider thread, for ease of future searchers I added a few views of them and how far they stick out.

Today I installed my BIO step sliders, pics below for more 'views'. I have nothing to add to the install instructions, other than it was easier than I thought. I guess over the years my tool collection has grown that no combination of swivels, extensions, ratchets presents much of a problem (some have reported frustration with the PS A/C bracket/shield).

Love the sliders, and like how the truck looks. My old running boards were ruined from dragging them on the rocks in Death Valley.

Yeah, I'm gonna need to know what you did to those wheels - they look great!

hey @crimsonaudio the wheels were powdercoated a graphite color by a local place here in Anaheim, CA. Nu-Tec Powdercoating. It was like $40/wheel. Powder coating is the only real type of finish I feel is durable enough to survive being scraped against rocks.

Awesome price, looks killer. Well done, and thanks.
