Picked it up today. 2007 LX, 76k miles, totally stock. I removed the steps already but a storm cell came through as I was finishing up so I didn't get a chance to take another picture.

What do you guys do with the little tab that is exposed right behind the front tire after removing the steps?

After you pull the running boards off you can install OEM front mud flaps (mud guards in Toy/Lex speak) if sliders aren't in the big plan. OEM flaps look great and finish the look and cover those tabs.

Homedepot/ Rustolem Bed Liner to front grill - extended the paint line to the lower trim piece to make the grill appear larger.

How do you like the final finish of that liner paint and how fast or slow does it dry? Also how bad is the odor wile drying?
Thanks

Seems like bugs would be much harder to clean off of that grippy surface.

I ask because I sprayed my drawers with some liner a couple months ago and the smell was so bad I went ahead and sanded down to get rid of it and painted with something else later! Much happier now! The first one also was taking way too long to dry.
Now I am looking for something for my bumper.

Got an oil change and rear brakes replaced. I get my oil changes done at Lexus as they only cost $60 (was slightly more due to using Mobil 1 as opposed to their Kendall well oil) and I get a loaner car and a perfectly passable car wash. Also, it provides easy documentation of such things.

That said, they did try to charge me $180 to replace two taillights and the light over the license plate. I almost spit out my coffee laughing when the Service Advisor recommended it. The parts are I think $8 they said. Somehow, they wanted to charge 1.5 hours of labor to change out bulbs!

Well you did good getting an M1 lube for $60 and a car wash!

Thanx! Getting a loaner car (ES350) is what really makes it worthwhile as otherwise would either be stuck there for a few hours or need to get a ride there and back in the middle of the day.

Plastidipped the front grill and rear badges in Anthracite Grey Metallic - really like it on the silver truck as opposed to the all black some folks prefer.

Tried to get a shot of the metallic aspect of this Plastidip - it looks fantastic in person, my phone doesn't do it justice:

i like this. What brand plastidip did you use?

Installed PFran's CV clamps and new front shocks today - I can't believe how much better it drives. I think the shocks were original (105k miles) so I'm not surprised it rides better, but wow - I think almost all my rattles are gone.

Check out bad the bushings were:

am using them to clean up the look of the rear bumper while I wait for the rear swingout Slee.......

I also removed the rock rings from the RW's - was surprised to see how much they'd chewed at the rim..... likely that explains much of the noise Tundra owners complain about..... I'm going to get them PC'ed to match the Slee front/ rear....
