Put this awesome bend in my front bumper while out wheeling with Dixieland Cruisers. Now I have to figure out how to unbend it...

Get a steel bumper, that should fix it!

My 2000 Land Cruiser rolled over 225k this week. To celebrate I did my first DIY oil change on it. I figured that it couldn't be that hard and would save me a few dollars in the long haul vs having my usual mechanic come out to my house and do it. It went pretty well. I did have to run to several different parts stores to find the oil filter though.

Changed heater hose T's at 125k, and one was totally shot. Very glad I did it.

Replaced cabin air filters.

Replaced AHC fluid.

The General let me down. Never been a fan of the brand, but they were almost new when I picked it up 15k ago. About 15 seconds prior we heard what we though was a wheel bearing going. Then she blew.

Ironically we'd just been shopping for an investment property over in Bend and happened to grab a shot (2nd pic) 100 miles prior and all was well with the right rear. Don't remember hitting anything, must have been a defect.

Seems like the wood would wear much better than the leather on the OE wheel. I'm wondering how the wood might look in my LC...
