Awesome vanity plate

Installed Airlift 1000 bags yesterday. Filled them up to 25psi to test overnight. Holding air fine so far. Looking forward to seeing how they handle on our next trip.

Last week my check engine light came on with a P0441 error (Evap ECS incorrect purge flow) and I checked the gas cap and reset the code as the truck is running fine: idle sounds normal, no loss of power, no fuel smell. Then I found a dead mouse under my truck. Thought that was odd and moved on.

Friday morning I was supposed to leave for a family trip, went outside to get the truck ready, remove the third row seats, and fill the windshield wiper fluid. Opened the hood and found a rather large mouse nest.

Those photos were taken after I cleaned out some of it already, not realizing what it was initially, and just how big it was.

After cleaning this out, I found they chewed through a vacuum switch at the bottom of this mess (part number 90910-12661).

Had to take the RAV4 on the family trip instead. I will be ordering a new switch and replacing that part and figuring out how to reconnect the two wires (the mice left me barely an inch to work with) next week.

TL;DR: Opened hood to refill windshield wiper fluid; found huge mouse nest full of dead mice.

If there was a mouse nest competition, you’d win. That’s crazy.

Looks like you have a mice problem. Tue little buggers can always come back, so I'd suggest looking into a repellent spray to keep them away.
When I bought my truck a few years ago, it was in-op because mice had chewed through injector wires, coil wires, gas return line and the wire, washer fluid lines and the wiring harness for the fuel pump.

I’ll have to check things when I get back, but so far it looks like the vacuum switch is the only casualty. 🤞

The wiring below the tray is for the ABS. Remove the tray and make sure it did not get disconnected or that you have any damage to the wiring.
Yep. That was it. Pulled the tray and found this:

Rewired and all good.

Can I put a "My Truck Indentifies As a Prius" sticker on now? @cruiserpatch

...had to cut the old one off with a grinding disc...wouldn't give up the ghost after 5 or 6 days of PB Blaster and wiggling/tugging with vice grips.

Soooo fancy!

How does the pressure against the glass feel? I think mine original one is a bit weak.

Get this one and put it on. I always have a few I put on the e-cars of friend :-D
