Added Slee 30mm rear spring spacers for an inch of lift. (Surprised/pleased when Christo called to fill the $50 order the day I sent the email)...thanks Christo!

Had the torsion bars indexed up 30mm and the front-end aligned with the addition of Toyo Open Country AT IIs in 285/75R16.

Spent a day in Colorado Springs. New ride height and Toyos drove well from Georgia.

Also changed the oil (Castrol Edge) and R&R'd the OEM air filter.

Tunnel on Gold Camp Road, heading out of North Cheyenne Canon.

Started the process of installing RF ground straps for the pending Tarheel Screw Driver HF ham radio antenna install. The goal is to make sure the chassis is connected to the frame for a solid RF ground for best HF antenna performance.

Garth, did you paint your grille? I did that and I think it turned out nice.

@Muddy Bean is your rig the desert bronze metallic color? I don't see many like that but I love it:)

Bought it! 2007 LC black on tan. 66k miles
Hardwired radar detector to center over head console
Replaced the worn support lifts on the rear hatch
Ordered replacement key case

I just bought mine, thats what I did!! 2005 LC. Im new to the LC but really enjoying it. Im coming from a 2001 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Sport. I liked the Jeep but the LC is sooo much nicer to drive as my daily driver.

Newb question for you guys...whats your take on using premium fuel only in these vehicles? Worth it or not? Any difference?

I got mine about a month ago. I ran a couple tanks of premium but I didn't see any difference.

I really need to paint my bumpers and sides to match. Looks good. Looks like fun times there too.

Removed running boards, roof rack, rear spoiler, and fender flares. I have had my hundy for about 4 months, and I have to say I should have done this the weekend I bought it. It looks so much better without all of that "stuff".

Got any pics of your LC without all the stuff? I'd like to see what that looks like.

Garth, did you paint your grille?

I originally Plastidipped it Anthracite. It was still too dark, so I rattle canned silver over the Plasti.

Time will tell how it holds up.

Congrats and Welcome to MUD.

I can't speak for the LC but the LX states Premium only recommended. I have only ever run premium in mine.

Washed the car after a weekend away with the 4WD club.

Put some new bulbs in the low beams. Maybe I will be able to see the road now. Not thinking so.

I have only ever run premium in mine. As my all my cars dating back to 1998 have required it. I'm just use to it now. Hell, I even use premium to mix for my lawn mower now. It runs great and is 17 years old. Lol.

No difference here. My dad, (original owner), swore there was a huge difference. I cleaned the MAF sensor and now there is no noticable difference in mileage or how it runs.

I got OME 865s installed. And getting ready for a 14hr car ride to Hilton Head. Anyone know of any mild trails around there?

On Monday next week will be installing the heater hose T's and the little change pocket by the shifter I just ordered from beno, small steps! :)

Unless you're a fan of valve clatter at various points in the RPM range, run the higher octane fuel. It was designed to use that grade fuel. You won't see a huge performance drop off with regular gas (or large gains using premium).
