So the UCA mounting bolts near the frame had come loose? How loose were they? Did you just take a guess and threw a wrench on it and found they weren't as tight as they should be? I have a similar sound that I'm chasing and there's a very good possibility this is the culpritFollow up to this;
I FINALLY remedied my annoying CLUNK on full stop accelerations and driving to stops. It was the fri**** upper control arms sliding forward and backwards from being loose.
Y'all have no idea how relieved I am to be able to accelerate now without hearing that freaking clunk.
Now it's time to address the leaking driver side exhaust header.
That's all, carry on...

Would it be wrong to appropriate their "Nice Jeep Peasant" for the LC/LX family?Mine would say “I’d rather be wrenching on my Land Rover”
I have these Amazon product.took off my running boards yesterday. Going to find some led strips to replace the stock puddle lights.
Do you happen to know the offset before and after with these wheels? And did you have to get spacers? They look great!

I dunno man- I got my PC7424 after my other project car the other day and it looks so much better that I'm thinking the Lexus will probably get it too, even if that's just to give some love to the paint overall in advance of repainting the stuff that REALLY has to have it (top of the hood- no clear left). And my truck is absolutely no showpiece. After the rest of it is all slicked up, it'll repel pinstriping too... somewhat....hmmm, maybe I should buff all of that pinstriping. On the other hand, I would just pinstripe it again![]()
Correct. I would say that I was able to get at least 2 full turns on the nut before they were really snugged up.So the UCA mounting bolts near the frame had come loose? How loose were they? Well, how did it look after the wash? I also spy a nice looking TJ Rubi lurking in the back. I've had my TJ Rubi since 2003. Don't tell anybody around here, but it is still my favorite vehicle
'04 for me, missed getting one the first year. I still drive it like a go cart lol The LC cleaned up nicely. The hood needs compounding and polishing, the clear coat has gotten hazy from lack of wax and washing in the past. Cheers!Well, how did it look after the wash?
