What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (26 Viewers)

Yes, however I would never recommend to anyone to run the front locker on it's own in a 100 series.

Having the rear locked when airing up is no issue since you would be stationary in any case.

Is that because you'd want the rear to be doing the heavy lifting so to speak? In most cases the rear will be the end that all weight has been transferred to. (Climbing)

I run front locker only though. CDL engaged and ATRAC in the rear...... 3x4ing.

But but...what if your kids want to blow up a beach ball on the way to the beach with the custom plumbing installed to enable air on the interior?

I mean this *is* the 100 group on MUD! Overkill is the name of the game right?

On that note I just found a great accessory so could finally remove the running boards on my trail 100!

Introducing the new daily driver. Now the kids can get in and out with running boards and I can strip the boards from my rig.

On its first family mission. Merry Christmas!

You tell 'em to suck it up and use their onboard faceholes. :D

Had my neighbour upgrade the speakers to Rockford Fosgate, clarity is perfect, replaced tweeters, door speakers & added a pair of 8 inch subs to the rear right quarter panel. One RF sub driving the door speakers & another driving the 8" punch subs. I can take my pioneer app radio upto about 33 and its crystal clear! Haven't tried to go to full volume yet, will get a dB meter and give it a go this weekend

Got on a conf call on the way to work this morning, got distracted with the call and forgot all about the fact that my gas lights was on before I left the house.

Yup. Ran my LX out of gas. I am such a tool.

Mind you there was a brand new never filled 4 gal. Rotopax mounted to the roof.

The fuel needle does go below the E line before you run out BTW.

The Rotopax is filled now.....

The only thing more embarrassing than running out of gas is running out of gas with an empty jerry can (or Rotopax) mounted to the car for everyone to see.

I've had it happen a couple times with an empty gas can in my trunk. (Not on the Cruiser... yet.)

Here are some more pics of my flip key (and I'll link/repost to the flipping key thread ;)
Not sure why mine works, but I am glad. Its a snug fit when the key is in the lock, perhaps either the key body is different and places the transponder closer to the antenna, or, when Ace cut the blank they cut it higher on the shaft? Here're the people I bought it from on ebay:

finally got my e-bay key, and it works great! Here's the difference...

Thought that place looked familiar in the picture on my phone. Farmers Market. Good looking 100. Want to get the boards off mine, but I've got a vertically challenged wife & son, so they'll have to stay for a little while longer.

Agreed. Was more worried that the Jeeps n F J that I saw drive by thought that I was broken down. Again. What a tool I am. I should have turned around and gone home. Instead I am still stuck at work.

Happy to have others enjoy my misery.

One of the guys I was on the conference call with, calls me a $hit magnet. I am , although this one is all on me.

Starting a little wiring/stereo project. Deadened the doors installed 6.5" mids in the doors and tweeters in the a-pillars.

Funny, from the reflection, the trip meter looks like RIP 364. True...

At 300 miles on the meter, my head is on a swivel looking for something. I do like to play chicken too, but 325 is the threshold. Amazing that no matter what you put in it or on it, it doesn't really change that number.

Installed Pioneer x5500BHS Head Unit, new infinity component speakers, and added LED lights to my center cluster. Only problem is my bluetooth mic (you can see it on the dash in the pic) has terrible sound quality when I'm on the highway. I guess I need to look into powered mics?
