Water in shop vac from carpet, looks & smells like coffee.
Replaced the CDL switch and reinstalled the skid plates with some new nut-serts.
Also put the license plate on.
Penny is ready to roll.

Both a sad day and a happy day at the same time... Started to disassemble the Gecko for the two-month project undertaking.
Wheels off for beadlock reseal and tire flip, steering apart for knuckle rebuild, another new motor mount installed, interior partially removed and skid plates off. Hope to have the tranny and cases out this week and the Long's out for rebuild by the beginning of next week.

I can't get any work done for having to clean up everything. I'm not going for showroom clean, but want to tidy things up a little bit. Oil pan was completely caked.
Dropped Penny at ACC and sorted out the TH carb on the Mule.

What? Did you put it on or the PO? Sucks about the ABS. Hope you get it sorted.

Mr. T in New Bern, NC. But, after some discussion with ACC, they took a closer look and decided they saw something during the inspection process that made it suspect. It also led then to believe the timing belt had not been done. Further inspection resulted in changing the earlier diagnosis and the water pump has been given a clean bill of health. It had been changed in April with the timing belt and all the idlers and stuff. (I guess that is why it is called an estimate! Which usually get worse, in my case it got considerably better.)
If I was not going to depend on the truck as a DD in a foreign country, I would have been tempted to try to get a used abs comp from a parts truck.

Yep. Good to have that piece of mind. Especially since you will be far from home. Also nice when the estimate is less than expected!
