Came home from work to find that my wife backed into the FZJ80....:bang:
Damn, that sucks. Full bump, not a small bump. Guess it's time for an upgraded bumper...for protection of course.

Dang blue eyed. That stinks. And that lady had torque or momentum on her side.

Should win you the bumper argument but you should remind her backing into a real bumper will cause even more damage.

Yeah, her Armada is much worse off, not sure how she pulled this off...especially since it has a back up camera and warning sensors. At least the LC had no damage to the radiator, AC system, etc... Just replace and upgrade parts.

Yep...been looking a while and really like the bump it offroad tube bumper. Had been saving money to do a 2.5" lift first...and did not need to spend $$$ on the deductible for the Armada or replace the perfectly good parts on the LC. Guess new bumper comes before the height now.

More snowboarding...

Wifey and daughter went shopping today so me and the boy decided it was time to fit the snorkel that has been lying in the garage since Christmas. Also fitted an engine temperature sensor and guage. Happy with the results of both.

Work continued on the crank/balancer replacement & turbo swap. All seals and bearings replaced as old crank was undersize .025mm and new crank is standard. Modified factory coolant lines on the block to have JIC ends on them to match the turbo, hydraulic lines for both coolant and oil now, with screw fittings as opposed to the factory hose and clamp setup. Engine is now back together, so hopefully only another couple of weekends and I'll have it back. Sits really high without the weight of the motor! Also replaced a whole heap of miscellaneous parts that were worse for wear while I had the opportunity

Wrench set on reverse, penetrating fluid in hand, and despite having a lot of other stuff to do, I wheeled the cruiser in the shop, labeled a bunch of lines, and got this much done.

Got stuck in traffic on Highway 50 going up to Tahoe, my 11mo old boy obviously didn't like getting stuck on his car seat!

But he was happy when I let him stand behind the wheel ( still stopped in traffic obviously ).

Then after getting early dinner, to my surprise, a well built 80 was parked next to mine, then I finally put a face on the name/mud handle @HaringBagsik... Nice to finally meet you!

Oh it sucked! Was stuck for almost 2hrs!

I actually didn't know that I was just about a mile from where everyone was putting their chains on! That's what caused the traffic!

And when we got closer to the summit where CHP were drinking their coffee, they lifted the tire chain advisory! So then drivers again, pulled over and removed their chains!

I told the guy behind me to buy a Land Cruiser and there would be less chances of him putting snow chains! lol!

This's load bars appear to mount nice and close to the roof. Slee 4" springs ? Progressive?

Yea, I like the load bars. They are there for the RTT and they hold that on very well.

Yes, slee 4" springs with the rear being the progressive heavy ones. Rides like a cadillac loaded up.
