Nope, gauge is of by exactly 5psi. But definitely fast and very quiet.I've been thinking about getting one of the little hf units...does the gauge seem fairly accurate?

Wasn't the weekend but in continuing my long standing "try to buy every Land Cruiser in my town" philosophy I saw an 80 at the Aldi grocery store as I was pulling in to work after an appt. I tracked the owner down. One owner 94 with 105k. It is immaculate. I offered to buy it on the spot. Never seen it in town before. Crazy. The wife said she didn't want to drive it today because "he'll spend all night washing it to get the salt off". Didn't think I had a shot but after talking for 20 minutes I told him it was "beautiful...thanks for letting me look at it", he asked me for my number and said he will "think about it and call me" because they only have a two stall garage and he doesn't like parking his new Lexus outside but won't park the Land Cruiser outside either. Classic! I'm sure he'll want too much for it but it has the "magic button" that you all crave. Sigh.

My passenger side door lock does the same thing. I'm guessing it's the switch.I finally am getting to some minor squawks, now that I've tackled the hoses and belts. I replaced my front two doors' courtesy lights with LEDs; found the driver's side disconnected at the light bucket, and fixed my speakers, which had the wires jarred loose during various other maintenance work.
I rigged up a smart phone radio, so can get German language local radio stations for the first time.
I'm also lining up other jobs, like figuring out why the passenger side door lock will lock all the other four, but won't unlock them. Or replacing my lift gate latch handle which has been missing since purchase.
If you end up with it, you'll finally know what you've been missing out on (good and bad)!![]()
Took the 3 year old aftermarket brake booster off as it crapped out on me and awaiting the free replacement. To my knowledge this is the only non-Toyota part on my 80 (that matters) and do regret not buying from OEM. I guess the only plus is that I can take one of these off an 80 in about 30 min without disconnecting the lines off of the master cylinder.
By the way.....makes for a perfect opportunity to check or replace the PHH.

How does that help my stopping power? Nah, not patient to watch paint dry. I will probably replace it with oem next year. You should've painted it black before putting it back in!!![]()
Just under four minutes from 15psi to 35 on my 35's.What's the approximate air up time for one of your tires with that little guy? The price is definitely right, but wondering if it's worth it on 315/75/16's.

It was a Craigslist find. Never heard of Air Zenith before, didn't see any reviews here, but decided to take a gamble. It's pretty baddass, it takes my 295's from 25 to 40psi in 1:45.
Specs here: 2nd Generation 200PSI OB2 Compressor
I don't know why they're not marketed to the 4WD crowd?
Also added a 4-awg circuit for the compressor, but was running out of room so I added the military battery terminal.
Swapped the 3/8" bolt to an 8mm for compatibility with the existing cable lugs.

Is that the A1918?Looks like I wasn't the only one replacing a radiator. In my case a new Koyo for the old Koyo.

Also disconnected the LSPV from the rear axle and tied up to the frame cross member. Noticeable increase in braking was the result. Actually got the ABS to kick on, which is a first since the tire upgrade.
