Drove to Phoenix to renew my Wilderness First Responder and brought the lady along for some camping at Lake Pleasant.

Impressions on the lokka so far ? How long to install ?

Thanks

It can be done in a day but since I'm OCD it took me a full Sat and Sunday. Sat was pulling everything apart and cleaning all the surfaces for the FPIG and Sunday was reassembly.

I'm pleased with it, I had already pulled the VC because it was frozen up and after that the driveline clunk was much more obvious. Drive line clunk is gone and it acts just like it did when I had the front DS pulled.

Now that the front end has nothing pulling the truck the tierod play is much more obvious, I knew they were toast when I did the front axle rebuild with longfields but wasn't planning to do them until the PS pump rebuild.

Rear door speakers and OBA system both yet to be totally finished.

What gauge wire did you use to power your compressor? That's the last thing I have left to do on my OBA install underneath the rear. I'm thinking 8 or 10 gauge going from the battery to the rear.

i used 8

I drug home 2 tons of coal home today in my M1102 trailer. The combo cleared 11,000lbs on the scale! I actually pulls the load just fine, but a lot of second gear driving.

Call me ignorant, but for what?

Heat. Have a coal fired boiler in the basement.

Where did you order the aisin unit from and how much did it cost? Thanks in advance!
I noticed the temp gauge was creeping toward the red during the 3 mile trek of logging roads to get to out hunting ground. 1.5 miles of that is a constant incline. I replaced the t-stat, hoses, water pump and flushed radiator as part of base line, so I felt pretty confident on replacing the fan clutch (which I should have done already!) I considered draining and replacing the oil in the original but I was short on time so I swapped in a new Aisin replacement. Problem solved.

Its an ultragauge

More steering work... Think this will be the final stage... Ditched the Y and went with the RS 7/8 kit. Dual sheer, ya boy.

Still have some spacers to fab up and weld the bungs and address the stabilizer.
