I looked at mine through the fence at the body shop......

New paint on the hood and roof............

I finally replaced my old bent panhard with a homemade adjustable panhard. It only cost my $28 and a few hours of work.

Interested in this, what parts to order and where? Thanks

Did a little sanding of minor surface rust on the passenger side rear door. Took 22 years (17 in Iowa) for rust to finally show up. Caught it early. Was planning on monstalining in the spring anyway so I primed it and sprayed a pretty close match of Duplicolor from the molding down. It isn't a perfect match but it looks better than rust. And it will make it until spring if I don't get around to monstalining in the next few weeks. I'm definitely not a professional painter. Ha!

Also pulled the wiper arms, sanded, primed and painted them. It had been about 5 years. They were due.

I want to pull my aftermarket hitch and factory rear bumper and replace with something. Just can't make up my mind on what.

Based on my earlier post with 2.72/ gal. Fill up. Did 40 miles of forest service roads and some trails with the kids. $8.12 well spent for 2.5 hrs of entertainment for the kids which includes me.

Picked up a timber for a support post to be used in the home renovation. Friend down the road has a mill and cut the timber out of some he had in stock. It is cut from local Red Oak, 8"x8" x9'.

New meats. 285/75 BFG A/Ts. The natural reaction for me anytime anything new is installed is to clean the ever lovin out of it. Also repainted the emblems back to the factory gold color. I know the popular thing is to black them out, but I kinda dig the gold.

Rebuilt all four brake calipers and deleted abs because the bolts to the lspv snapped. Thinking about the proportioning valve because I can now lock up the rear brakes. Oh and had to clean the front windshield because of all the forehead marks from slamming on the brakes just for the hell of it. HUGE difference.

Oh my, how many squirt jobs has that thing had? :hillbilly:

Used the 80 to haul all of the junk necessary to dig and cement in several broken fence posts to my upper property. Six bags of cement, water, generator, power tools, new posts, gravel, hand tools, etc. Needed to keep out the interlopers who decided they liked my private wheeling spot.

I took the kids up to Lartch Mountain near Troutdale, OR to find some chantrelle mushrooms. We found some, but the season is about over.

Got gas. Figure at this price $2.72/gal; who can't afford to drive an 80?View attachment 960902
