Tested oil pressure per the fsm.
I replaced my sending unit a while ago and it sits so low it gives me anxiety.

I drove the Land cruiser about 15 minutes in 95* temps but couldn't get it warmed up it seemed. Upper neck was only 160

Edit: the forums tells me 75* is opening temp of the thermostat so I was spot on.

Oil pressure on cold start was 40ish

After warmed up at idle it was 24. Fsm calls for 4.3 or more

At 3000 it was 66.5. Fsm calls for 36 or more.

I've been contemplating doing a snirkle sort of like this myself. Do you have any other pics or comments you could share?

Thanks!

Mark...
Besides cutting the gigantic hole in the fender, 3 rivnuts need to be installed on the A-pillar to fasten the snorkel. It’s actually a very stout design once it’s all attached. The snorkel itself is powder coated stainless steel and well built in Australia. Cruiser Brothers was able to get the snorkel imported for me, bit of a process but well worth it imo. I also prefer the sleek design of the Moonlight over plastic design of most snorkels seen. Moonlight also offers a stainless steel air box as an option.

Not quite. The foam on the OEM radiator is on the side forward of the shroud. It is where the radiator marries up to front frame and stops air escaping around the radiator sides. Foam on the shroud side would be pointless as any air will have already passed over the radiator fins.
Not sure this is totally accurate. As the fan pulls air through the radiator, any gaps between the radiator and shroud will reduce the amount of air that is pulled through the radiator. How much? Not sure, but when in a very hot climate you want any additional air flow you can through the rad.

If you are only looking at pushing air through at speeds, you are absolutely correct, slow, or no speed, is where I see this as an issue.

Did you use their air box too? How long was shipping? I really like the stainless I’ve also been thinking of getting one.
I did not use their airbox and would be faster if you purchase off Long Range America instead of directly from Rad Fab.
I purchased directly from AU and took 4wks. While Long Range America had them in stock. Mine is the short version. The long version is if you had a previous snorkel and you need the long version to overlap the hole from your 1st snorkel.

Tell me more about that!! I'd like to add one to my 1997!! Thats slick.
The one that is pictured (and parts listed) are for a 93-94...you need a different style for yours that is more square.
