Lots of wasting time with people that want 2500 for a blown motor. They usually come around when they realize I’m the only idiot buying clapped out blown up 1fz motors around. I drive a lot also all of Oregon and Washington. I also get motors back from customers that I sell engines to.Man, where do you find all these engines!?
Looks like a front
Waiting on my blue hub fan clutch and I decided to change the fluid in my old unit before I bin it (I have a few 65mi all highway drives over the next week) The two halves were held together with some T-25 Torx, in the videos I watched they were philips/JIS. Is this a cheapo clutch from the PO? 99% of my rig was original when I got it - at 197k miles I’d be surprised to see both an OEM clutch replaced and also have the aftermarket fail.

Got a part # on the U-Joint?Good morning! While I have the engine out I’m replacing anything that needs it and is now very easy to get to. I’m definitely a “while you’re in there” kinda guy and no better time than the present while waiting for the engine to be rebuilt. FYI to anyone that hasn’t changed out their steering box, I’d suggest getting the U-joint that couples the shaft to the box. Mine is quite tired and wasn’t that easy to remove even w/ the engine out.
