Pickup up my first FZJ80 212,000 miles
First thing a did was put tires on because the original ones had cracks on the side walls. Went with 285/75
Has a CEL for the EGR, so that's going to need to be addressed, temp gauge is not looking so good.
Pickup up a couple little things i was able to install between yard work.

Found all these OEM rear discs for lc80 93/97.

Lots of wasting time with people that want 2500 for a blown motor. They usually come around when they realize I’m the only idiot buying clapped out blown up 1fz motors around. I drive a lot also all of Oregon and Washington. I also get motors back from customers that I sell engines to.
Waiting on my blue hub fan clutch and I decided to change the fluid in my old unit before I bin it (I have a few 65mi all highway drives over the next week) The two halves were held together with some T-25 Torx, in the videos I watched they were philips/JIS. Is this a cheapo clutch from the PO? 99% of my rig was original when I got it - at 197k miles I’d be surprised to see both an OEM clutch replaced and also have the aftermarket fail.

Realizing I dumped thick silicone into the original-style clutch lol am I screwed if I drive this thing? Stayed locked up for the 5-10 minutes I ran the car after putting it all back together. Hit 160° on the OBD scanner I think
Armor prep for Rubithon, clearance test, quad conversion.
Got a part # on the U-Joint?

I think that's the original Eaton clutch. If the temp spring / adjustment shaft are in working order then it's a good clutch and can be serviced and used with good results. You can read up on the forum the find info from others on the fill amount they used/etc.
My guess is that you may have overfilled it and not that the oil is too thick but I could be wrong on that. I'd drive it a bit more before going back into it but wouldn't hesitate to pull it off and do the service again if it never disengages. These become really easy to pull/service once you get used to doing it.

DIY Blast or did you take it somewhere? I've been looking for a good sandblaster for DIY
Harbor freight 20lb pot blaster, 80 gal compressor, mixed use of Al oxide and coal slag.
Ditch the stock nozzle and pick up a deadman style. I bought a $25 one off amazon.
Took me 8 hours to do the first one fiddling with the setup. The second one took ~2-3.
Slow, dirty and would honesly pay someone next time I think.
I set up in a truck bed with tarps to catch a lot of the media and I screened and reused it a bunch.
