Tourists or part timers from Texas can complain about Colorado services when they move here full time. We'll even come rescue you for free when you get in over your head....pretty much a daily occurrence. When "ya'll" move here we have plenty of DOT jobs here doing exciting things like plowing and vehicle maintenance. Sorry it won't pay well enough for you to afford a million dollar ranch, but you'll do fine with 3 other roommates.

I was there a few weeks ago from Ohio in my 80 series. It’s my 4th year driving out there. I always have a buddy with me to help each other out but we are pretty self sufficient and have never needed rescue. Here we are changing a tire on my buddys GX on imogene.

Boy did I see a lot of Texas plates when I was there. Even pulled an SUV with bald tires from Texas out of a ditch just on the edge of Ouray this year.

Found some cool trails back behind my neighborhood. Could only go in a little ways before I had to make a 30 point turn out. The trails are better suited for side-by-sides,ATVs and mini trucks. With my mirrors tucked in I had inches to spare on each side.

Thank fully my truck is white otherwise I’d have some terrible pin striping!

Found a deer stand too.

Fuel pump sock change. Hardest parts was getting the new one seated on the fuel pump.

Deer stand and a poop stump. What else does a guy need ...... I found a hollow stump behind my camp in the dark one night and thought that is the perfect pooping spot. An hour later it was time to try it out and after 30 seconds of sitting down the fire ants appeared all over my arse

Hit the road last week to Mississipi for a few days to collab on some work with a buddy of mine… Brought the doggo with me and he loved every minute of the trip!

My ole Girl finally got a brand new pair of shoes. 305/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on 17” method mr305s. She’s on a 3 inch dobinsons lift and fully tucked she’s about an inch from rubbing

I’m assuming that’s why the deer stand wasn’t far from there. I am looking forward to using the dump stump in the near future! Hopefully no fire ants though.

Not the weekend but still on vacation….
I ordered a new passenger side door mirror hoping it would fold with motorized action…..nope. It still folds but with hand power. The mirror is adjustable with the switch and pad set up.
The mirror connector plug was smaller than the original (no motorized extend/fold control) so I had to swap out the plug to fit the original. Just 3 wires now instead of 7. Door panel had to come off to get to the plug. Kind of bummed about no motorized extend fold action but it sure is shiny and new.

ACSD delete happened today as well using the Back40 imports kit. A very fiddly proceedure for sure with some tight spaces but everything went together very well and the engine fired right up without hesitation. No leaks at all, fuel or coolant.
