Started installing a Cobra 75 WX ST.

Used the brackets from the disconnected tweeter on the passenger side.

Took my hdj80 to the local pay and play site and didn't break it :D used to to have a kzj70 with open diffs and 33's, wow what difference 37's and twin lockers make B)

Just giving some advice based on experience with my Cobra 75. The speaker in the mic is known to take a hike after some time, and if you are on the trail, you have a CB that doesn't work. The cost to repair the speaker in the mic by Cobra runs about 40-50 dollars plus shipping.

I would recommend buying an auxiliary speaker that plugs into the jack on the little box you installed. The sound works better using the auxiliary speaker I have found. The speakers run about 20-30 dollars.

That's good to know, I figured the mic in the handset would be pretty weak so I ran an aux cable to the back of my head unit.
