Added a dash ornament! ;) A little industrial outdoor Velcro on the wheels holds it tight to the dash mat and is barely noticeable.

Also repainted the wiper arms. One turned out well (pictured). The other looks like :poop: up close (user error, rushing the paint job), so at some point I'll sand and repaint that one. But at least it's protected and won't continue to rust.

What dash cover is that?

Cutting board with a slot for the hinges? Might actually be kinda nice to keep it somewhat in place while cutting
Not a bad idea. That could be done easily with a router!
I’d do that, but the drawer system I plan on installing has a cutting board integrated already.

Did a lil jaunt up “the back way” to Crown King

Even when doing 120KPH, I've never seen my oil pressure gauge going this up.
Usually, it's in the middle or below. Is that OK?
I’m pretty sure I had a lil too much in there at that time. I topped off before the 6hr drive and went a lil heavy.

Mine usually reads exactly how yours does whether full or oil level light flickering

^ oil pressure shouldn't care about oil level... well, you obviously need oil in there for the oil pump to create pressure...

cheers,
george.

I drive the unloved OBD1 80 series. I’m looking at you @NLXTACY

I’ve been waiting for Joey to come up with the equivalent to the useless cubby for awhile. Well, necessity is the mother of invention.

Made some lemonade with VHT epoxy and 2 hours with the wire wheel, and 3m red scrubbers. Not perfect, but you know, they’re sliders.

And plugged this long overdue hole, guessing this will increase fuel economy by 2-3x.

Awning finally arrived from Aug21 order.
First chance to 'experience overlanding' with this awning/shower combo...in as much as a 'first unfurling' can allow.
Will only say thus far that:
1) unless your awning has aluminum spars, the outrigger poles like in the pic are not optional.
2) the backside of this particular awning is getting a coat of black lol
gory details:
