Dash is in... Finally.
Got my Slee castor correction plates in (and replaced all the bushing on the LCA's with OEM).
Tried my hand at welding. My first and second welds. Not perfect, but not bad either!

Passed my technician class HAM license exam yesterday. Waiting to get my call number so I can get on the radio. Bought this Baofeng UV-5R and got it all set up using CHIRP software with repeaters from here to the Sierras. Decided to setup something a little more civilized than having the radio bouncing around on the front seat or change bucket while I wait for my ticket to arrive. Used a length of retired seatbelt screwed in to the driver side of the shifter console. Radio and mic both clip on pretty comfortably. For now I've got a little corkscrew dual band antenna attached going through the firewall to the hood. All temporary until I figure out where I'm going to go with a permanent radio and antenna. Not bad for a half hour mod, me thinks. 
Congrats on passing your technician test! I love having 50+ watts of 2M mobile power when I'm in the back country, definitely gives you a bit more piece of mind when the family is camping with you in the event things go pear-shaped.
I use my 80 as a repeater up on a ridgeline while I'm hiking with the HT in my backpack.
I'd advise looking for a mobile radio that will fit in a single DIN stereo mount (as well as cross-band repeater ability so your Baofeng can really stretch it's legs), then find a cheap single DIN stereo to replace the factory double DIN unit- both the 2M unit and the stereo fit nicely in the same hole. The 80 already has a cooling fan circulating air behind the dash, so no overheating issues.

I'm also looking at just mounting a faceplate and having the radio in that useless back cubby in the cargo area, then having the antenna go out through the back and mount it on the hatch. Great to have options. Does your radio have APRS? Thinking that would be an awesome option in a radio for leaving bread crumbs in the middle of nowhere. At least they can find my bones.
Added the factory rh battery tray, replaced the a/c expansion valve (yay for functional a/c!) And went out and put some off road miles on her for the first time.

That's exactly what I did. My radio was a bit older but it did have a data port in the back, so I hooked up a TNC I bought for $20 at a Hamfest and plugged my GPS in- voila- a three hundred dollar upgrade for minor outlay.
Just make sure your radio and assorted gear are waterproofed in the event of a deeper than expected water crossing.
QBALL came over to install a Powertrax locker in his LX. Things did NOT go as planned since either we were given the wrong locker to install, likely, or the carrier is damaged, not likely. Was going to build a how to thread but since we had to just put everything back the way we found it I didn't feel there was enough useful info. So I figured I would show off some of the pics of removing the rear diff so that those that haven't done it, can see how easy it is.

By the way, a little trick if the 3rd is stuck on the housing - take a jack and put it under the pinion, and slowly/carefully push up with the jack. It'll help break the gasket seal so you don't have to beat on it to get it loose.
Don't jack it up too much, tho. You don't want to hurt the studs if you can help it.

Changed fluid in Both diffs and transfer case with Mobil 1 75w90 and changed the oil.
